I used to consider myself an intellectual. I had perfect scores in my science and philosophy classes. I loved to debate, and considered myself well versed in theistic and atheistic arguments. I had studied and practiced many religions, from Asatru- Wiccan and every other major belief in between I could find. Except Christianity, I hated them. I would physically fight and argue with Christian’s because I believed them all to be judge mental hypocrites. I vandalized their churches and cursed God openly. I was very physically fit, and a confident diy guy. I didn’t think anything could stop me. Until one day, I found myself in an impossible and dire situation health situation. One that no science, medicine, or philosophy could help with. It is impossible to understate the fear and hopelessness I felt. My body was physically broken, the prognosis was loss of all quality of life and a slow painful death. I had been humbled to the ground. I was seriously contemplating suicide. I cried out to Jesus in last ditch desperation. I was on my hands and knees, with tears and snot running down my face. To my surprise, He showed up. I had a waking vision. In which I saw Jesus touch my shoulder. When He did, my body was filled with a supernatural comfort. I can’t explain it, but it happened. I was overwhelmed and confused. But after that moment everything began to change for me. I gave my life to Jesus. I was baptized. Then 2 days later I was baptized in the Holy Ghost- which I didn’t even believe in a few weeks before. My body and mind began to heal, but that isn’t the amazing part. I am a totally new person inside. I have been born again. I have a relationship with the living God Jesus. I am here to tell you, whatever wisdom you think you know about the world- it is foolishness to God. All my knowledge, ability, and experience couldn’t save me- Jesus saved me. God’s inspired Word is the absolute truth. If you will take a step of faith and begin to read it that way, and pray about it- you will see that it is. 1 Corinthians 2: 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 2 Corinthians 10: 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Revelation 12:11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

@@sgsupreme17 it seems as though you didn’t understand my question. And I did understand your comments, they are the typical passive aggressive insults. Atheist usually imply or directly claim that those of us that believe in a creator are lacking intelligence. It’s almost always a way to avoid actually engaging in a conversation because an atheist doesn’t actually have evidence to support their claims or because they don’t have a way of communicating what they believe. I’ve seen this happen several times in debates including with myself personally in some debates I’ve had with atheists. The Bible talks about when you build your house on a solid foundation that it can withstand any storm, there would be no need for insults. But when your an Athiest and your house foundation has more holes then Swiss cheese you have to resort to insults. @@NoOnesBusiness3 That is a hard question to answer convincingly, and a whole book could be written. I was in my early twenties an atheist (but somehow I felt that God was there and not very pleased with me). To cut a very long story short, I became a Christian at twenty-four. I used to explain to myself that science explains the "how" and God explains the "why". Rather simplistic, I know. Ten months ago, I was taken seriously ill with a stroke and the doctors didn't think I would make it through the night. I am still badly damaged, although by the grace of God, I am slowly recovering by the miracle that has a name - neuroplasticity. I believe I was assured that I would not die, but would make a recovery, but I must take my meds. I am a man of simple Christian faith, although I am not religious, as religion can be very divisive. I am sure that this short answer is not very convincing, but I believe that God is at work. I was sure of this having spent four months in hospital (a traumatic experience). I am convinced that God was with me, even in the darkest time, when I cried tears by the litre.

@@mimiBankxDon’t believe what everyone tells you my friend. According to the Bible the world is about 6,000 years old, and humans came on day six. Now the science for that is way greater than any science that evolution could ever tell you because they believe the physical impossibility that nothing became something. And the Bible is the only truth in this world full of the devils lies. Therefore, Imma bring up a few points to think about. But I would recommend watching Christian geologists explaining how the world isn’t billions of years old but for now here’s some thoughts to think about. 1. I could put a cup under the sink tap and someone else come and pick it up and say according to the drip rate this cup has been under the tap for 45 minutes, but then I go back in the kitchen and tell them it’s been there five minutes, what they didn’t know was that the cup already had water in it when I put it under the tap. So my first point would be you need observable data and historical data to determine age. 2. There is no know observable process that by which new genetic information can be added to an organisms genetic code. Natural selection and adaptation is always the loss of genetic information. Therefore it is irrational to think that the reverse is true that we got built up from evolution. Which this points to humans had to be here from the start, and that there was a flood, which scientists are very eager to prove that it didn’t exist. 3. We learn that the wages of sin is death so nothing died before Adam and Eve sinned. So everything that has died has came after Adam and Eve, 6,000 years ago not billions. Neanderthals were pre flood human beings, descendants of Adam. Died in the flood, and since atheist not scientist try to disprove that and disprove the earth is young then they try to disprove the flood. Just a few points to think about my friend from a woman in science, that’s going to be a future biomedical engineer. God Bless🫡

His story of being a life long non believer, and then the more he learned, the more it pointed to an intelligent designer is the same experience I had. The dream of being encircled and trying to find a way out, almost the same, except it was mountains all around, and I was looking for a path, and after searching for what seemed like forever, I saw what looked like a very narrow path out up the mountains, and as I approached it, I saw an ancient withered sign I can still see the grooves in the wood, and carved and painted in red was "MAR 3 13", which I had to do a double take in my dream because march 13th is my birthday, but it was weird because I took it as march march 13th. after that, I woke up, and the dream didn't leave me, as it hasn't, even today. I got on the computer and typed that in, and Mark 3:13 came up "Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him." I had never read the bible at that point, but how it fit with the dream and everything, I instantly started crying and my body began to shake. At that point I knew for certain.

And obviously the story behind the dream, and this man's dream about the door. I've had some spiritual dreams myself, but nothing like this, more awful dreams, where I was clearly dealing with an evil presence and knew not to listen to them.

Receive eternal life (live forever) in this moment: Every person is equally sinful to God, all have sinned and come short of God’s glory, so we were all worthy of death according to God’s law. However, he made a way for us to receive life. God is a Spirit, he is invisible, he can never die, and his name is Jesus. God manifest in the flesh of the man Jesus Christ, who was called the mediator between God and men. The man Jesus was crucified on a cross (nailed to wood and left to die). The gospel is that the man Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and God rose him from the dead on the third day as a display of his power over death. On the cross God judged the man Jesus for the sins of the world, the debt according to the law was paid with Jesus blood. Everyone’s sins have been paid for. If Jesus paid the sin debt according to the law for every person, why doesn’t everyone have eternal life? When was asked, “What must I do to be saved?” the response was, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” It’s a free gift, not of works (doing or not doing things) otherwise we could boast/brag. The moment you believe the gospel, you pass from death to life and shall not come into condemnation/judgment because God now sees you as a perfect sinless spirit; you have his righteousness/perfection/goodness. Because the sin debt according to the law has been paid for the entire world, people are only condemned because of unbelief. If you do not believe, you will die and are dead already; if you believe, you have life. Many corrupt the simplicity of this free gift with the offering of men’s hands-trying to do good deeds, trying not to sin, paying tithes- but the truth is that after you believe the gospel you are no longer in the flesh but in the spirit, you are born again, your life is hid in God who is perfectly righteous. Nothing will ever separate you from God and you will never die. Your flesh is corrupt and will return to the dust of the earth (the children of the flesh are not the children of God), but you are a new creature in Christ, old things have passed away and all things have become new. Trusting the gospel of Jesus is all you can and must do to receive eternal life. Do you believe this? @@roems6396 thank you for writing. I wasn’t raised religious and at one time, I agreed with you wholeheartedly. Please let let me try to answer you the best that I can on this platform. For the past 5 months, I have been teaching a Bible study based solely on the Book of Judges. It has been incredible. Have you read it? I think it would help clarify some things for you, as far as this topic pertains. We see that when Joshua led the Israelites into the land of Canaan, after 400 years of Egyptian servitude, that there were many existing tribes and local deities in that area. In Judges, we get to witness comparisons between these so-called gods and Yahweh. We see a clear picture of what happens when people forget about the true God and turn to worship false gods. These other gods are/were nothing like Yahweh. And you must remember that Moses had already met “I AM” before the Israelites left Egypt so obviously they didn’t just “steal” anything from these lesser Canaanite gods however they did worship them from time to time - as you see throughout the OT. If you remember Chemosh and Molech, the gods of the Moabites and the Ammonites, they required child and human sacrifice - this act has always been an abomination to the Lord. More recently, when the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés and his men arrived in the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán in 1521, they described witnessing a horrible ceremony. Aztec priests, using razor-sharp obsidian blades, sliced open the chests of sacrificial victims and offered their still beating hearts to the their gods. Many, many tribes around the world and across time have done this very same act and it was only Christian missionaries that helped teach them the truth and stopped them from continuing. Since you clearly don’t appreciate Christianity, would you prefer that this continued? And I’m sorry, you think there is no evidence to support the Bible? Is that why so many respected scholars such as Antony Flew, Tim Vivian, Ravi Zacharias, John Lennox and others have given their life to Christ? Surely, this matter is not only academic but one of the soul and the heart. Science alone will never be able explain origin, meaning of life, morality, or destiny - the most important questions. These are philosophical and theological questions that the scientific minds just can’t fathom. Dr. Gary Habermas, perhaps the most acclaimed Christian historian today and who specializes on the resurrection of Christ, would strongly argue against you. I highly suggest you check him out on KZbin and hear his case. It just might change your life.

The narrow way that our Lord spoke of, and the narrow ways of some Reformed (and their novel 500 yr old theology) are not the same things. Calvinism is Augustinianism (late Augustine) on steroids... The early Augustine of Hippo and the entirety of the early church father's and the vast, vast majority of Christian theologians and believers throughout time did / do NOT believe in double predestination and meticulous divine determinism, or the absolute inability of fallen man (yes without Christ we can do NOTHING and He alone bridges the gap via His incarnation) to do anything good. We are made in His Image, and we still retain it - though "relationally" dead to Him prior to the new birth. "Filthy rags" yes... But God still sees real and genuine altruism and folk being blessed and being a blessing even outside of Christ - Who is the Source of all truth. Total depravity is partially false. ✌️💚

M2, so happy you saw the light. It's amazing once the blinders come off, how clear the evidence is for God. Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space, and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We KNOW these laws. We have NO doubts about them. We also KNOW that the laws of nature can't come about without a Lawgiver, God. Life only comes from life. Law of biogenesis. God is the reason for us and all we have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJqwoq2ElL6Gjrc The odds are NOT there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWLCfHiMlqisl6M kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4icmJStr79_qc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpXEooarqdlol9k

@@Hvb101 The short version of the long story is that for decades, I wanted answers to the big questions: What is it all about, does God exist, how do things work, etc. I was considered very brainy by those who knew me. My Christian friends did not have any good answers for me because they always cited the Bible. I did not believe anything written in the Bible, so that method was a disaster and offered no answers. I read a LOT; Lee Strobel, Aquinas, Wm. Lane Craig, C.S. Lewis, RC Sproul, especially Ravi Zacharias, and a whole panoply of writers. Strobel's argument was the best for explaining the resurrection and Christ in general. Ravi spoke to my intellect. The DNA information and the cell complexity blew me away. After all this reading, I was still winning the debates with my Christian friends because for the most part, all they could argue was, "The Bible says so." One day I decided to test the theory about seeking God and about confession and repentence, so I confessed what I believed to be my sins, asked for forgiveness and....nothing happened. But 48 hours later, I had an other-worldly experience where I lost my body mass, left this earthly realm and experienced an ecstasy I never felt before or since. I was in God's presence and in another dimension untouched by what we know on earth. I didn't see or hear Him, He was everywhere, though. It's a long story, but from that day to this, nothing in my life was the same. Ironically, I now teach Bible studies at my Church. The most important thing I learned besides the fact that God chooses who will believe and who will not, is that He chose me for reasons having nothing to do with any merit or good works on my part. The reasons are His own. Some day I might find out why. I am the most grateful of wretches.

So after learning about complexity of DNA, thanks to human scientists who figured it out, you concluded there must be a god, and no less that it is a Christian god? Can you share that creative thought process here? When you design something - anything - in your life, are you trying to make it as complex as you can or as simple as you can? If anything, complexity is an argument against a designer - or at least intelligent, omnipotent and omniscient designer.
@polthaty
@polthaty Жыл бұрын
@@tomyossarian7681 I desagree. There`s a lot of designs that are complex, made by humans. This rule "need to be simple to be a design" is not valid, its an argument created by those who want to discredit intelligent design. Another thing is, complexity impacts on something far more important. It matters to show that, without all the parts already there, ready at the same time, such a thing would not exist. For example, the bacterial flagellum. So, if the designer were in line with this argument of making things simple, it would be easy to say "look, it's evolved, because three steps or elements would be enough and this structure would be ready". That is, complexity points to a sudden, abrupt, and complete emergence. And not a spontaneous appearance against all the weather, which lasted for billions of years. Peace!

God Almighty says 94 ‏So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. 95 ‏And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers. 96 ‏Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, 97 ‏Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful punishment. 98 ‏Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 99 ‏And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? 100 ‏And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason. 101 ‏Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe 102 ‏So do they wait except for like [what occurred in] the days of those who passed on before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." 103 ‏Then We will save our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers 104 ‏Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah ; but I worship Allah, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers 105 ‏And [commanded], 'Direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allah ; 106 ‏And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'" 107 ‏And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful 108 ‏Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray [in violation] against it. And I am not over you a manager." 109 ‏And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.

@@johntheplumber5958 ‏Anthony Flew is considered one of the most prominent atheists, so he retracted his atheism and told us that the universe has a deity with modern scientific evidence, not with thought or dreams and feeling, but after science and modern discoveries about the existence of a Creator. He fell into another problem that the Creator wanted according to his mood ‏ He wanted the Creator to be neither speaking nor hearing, and creating creation in vain ‏But it is logical that this Creator sends a messenger to teach us who he is. And we have to verify the authenticity of the Messenger and what this Messenger calls to? ‏ It transports sperm from the liquid state to the eyes, heart, blood, arteries, and bones. Unconscious nature creates a conscious human being. Then this nature teaches about the importance of the heart and lung, then puts the rib cage, then oxygen, then water, there is sexual desire, and there are the genitals to complete the male and female sexual process. , What coincidence are you talking about, a coincidence that creates the male and the female. All of these are called verses and there are things that complement each other, there is a lung and there is air and there are teeth and stomach and in food and other things and we say that it has no creator!!! ‏ The only question God will ask you is ‏ focus on it ‏ ((He said: Did you deny My verses and did not encompass them in knowledge, or what did you do?)) ‏ I mean, God Almighty tells you what I told you is a lie and you cannot realize it or understand it ‏ And what in the world have you been doing? ‏ Do you know what your answer is? ‏ ((The decree will befall them for what they did wrong, and they will not be able to speak. ‏ If you find yourself in the world without a choice in a great reality we live in, and you go without a choice and a question is the most important ‏ If your destiny is fire, has God wronged you???ًً ‏Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is a prophet from the Creator, and before him many prophets did not lie or deceive, and he is the only religion that commands you to worship one Creator who created everything. ‏First of all, you should know that the religion of all prophets is the worship of one Creator who created everything. Islam today is the only religion that commands you to worship one Creator and not idols, illusions, conjecture or a number of gods. But how do we know that the speech is from God and not from Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace? . These are some of the things that comfort your heart and believe that this is a prophet and many of the prophets before him ‏ The Almighty said: (Moreover He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke) ‏ The smoke confirms that the origin of this universe is inflamed. It is not a lake of water, as was the perception of all philosophies and religions that are based on illusion. This is one of the postulates of modern science today that the sky is condensation of smoke. This fact converted the French scientist Maurice to Islam and wrote a book entitled the Holy Qur’an on the scale of modern science ‏How did Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, know this fact before? ‏ The Almighty says: ((And the heaven We constructed)) ‏ The sky is a building, not a vacuum as it was thought, and this was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2017 that proved it ‏How did Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, know this fact before? ‏The Almighty’s saying: ((And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. )). ‏ That is, the sky expands with time. This fact, even in the time of Einstein, was not imagined by anyone and it was proven. And Einstein admitted it and admitted that it was the biggest scientific mistake he made in his life if he believed that the sky was fixed. The Qur’an before Einstein says that the sky expands ‏fact ‏ Almighty’s saying: :((And We have made the night and day two signs, and We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible that you may seek bounty from your Lord and may know the number of years and the account [of time]. And everything We have set out in detail. )) ‏ The verse of the night is the moon and the verse of the day is the sun. The Qur'an tells that the sun and the moon were fiery masses. That is, the moon was a fiery mass and was erased, and the verse of the day remained visible to the eyes. Was the moon a fiery mass and extinguished? This is one of the biggest scientific issues discovered about the moon. The moon was already a fiery mass, and NASA issued on its official website a conceptual clip entitled The Evolution of the Moon in the video. In fact, the moon was a fiery mass like the sun, and this is what the Qur’an told about and the truth of modern science. ‏How did Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, know this fact before? ‏Almighty’s saying ‏And you see the mountains thinking that they are rigid, while you will cross as the passage of clouds. [It is] the work of God who has perfected everything. In fact, he knows what you're doing.)) ‏ And the verse clearly spoke of a strange phenomenon, which is that the viewer of the mountains appears to him still, that is, they are still, but in fact they are not like that, rather they are in a state of constant movement. And the infidels of Quraish had previously accused our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, of madness, and it is likely that their joy was overwhelming when this verse was revealed. ‏ They also found in it, according to their claim, evidence of this madness, and they told the people: How can you believe this man who says that these fixed mountains move like clouds moving in the sky! ‏ And today it is proven that the earth rotates, and with it the mountains, how did Muhammad know that and why is he telling you instead of the matter that makes people consider him crazy? The matter was not from him, but from God. Almighty’s saying ‏Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe)). ‏After man was able to reach the sky by flying by modern means of transportation, he knew that the higher up in the air, the less oxygen and atmospheric pressure, which causes severe tightness in the chests and the process of breathing. : ‏How did Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, know this fact before? It was not from him, but from God . Almighty’s saying ‏Or (the Unbelievers' state) is like the depths of darkness in a vast deep ocean, overwhelmed with billow topped by billow, topped by (dark) clouds: depths of darkness, one above another: if a man stretches out his hands, he can hardly see it! for any to whom Allah giveth not light, there is no light! ‏Modern sciences have revealed that in the bottom of the deep seas with abundant water - the deep sea - there is great darkness, to the extent that living creatures live in this darkness without visual tools, but live using their other senses such as hearing. ‏These dark darknesses are not found in the sea water that surrounds the Arabian Peninsula, but rather they have been discovered in the oceans far from it ‏This verse shows another aspect of the Qur’anic miracle, which is that the sea wave that all people only knew was one wave in the seas ‏The verse says there is another wave in the depths of the sea, and divers discovered at the beginning of the twentieth century a fact that was hidden in the depths of the sea, that fact that shows another wave that throws divers into it as it is thrown at swimmers, and this wave was discovered by Scandinavian divers. I will tell you what the Prophet said. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: One day the Bedouins who live in the desert will build tall towers, and this is my duty. Go and see where the tallest buildings are and who owns them. ‏God Almighty: ((We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?) And God informed the Qur’an of this by saying: “Did you think that we created you without a purpose and that you would never return to us?” ‏All these and other matters that I have not mentioned indicate that this is a prophet from God..More important than that, as I told you, is the only religion that commands you to worship one Creator, who created everything and before him many prophets. ‏Say, if you wish, there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God ‏ speak from the heart .ً

Here let’s go over the Evidence for God. We know the universe is governed by precise mathematical laws of Physics. Rule of newton puts it-there cannot be laws without a lawmaker. All laws require intelligence to formulate and intelligence to understand which include humans. Compiled Laws put in place such as laws of thermodynamics demonstrate time initiated the universe yet there was a timeless cause. The universe a pendulum of time is clockwork, more complex than a Rolex watch. This alone calls for intelligent design any time of the week. We know God who has thoughts feelings ideas emotions made things in fours. Examples for the earth: there is four seasons fours elements four winds four sides to earths compass. That’s four fours. The grids used for maps is made up of foursquares of equal sides. In nature we have animals that walk on fours with typically four toes. Some have external fours such as tarantulas or octopus on sides. Humans have four fingers each hand excluding thumbs. Humans also grow four wisdom teeth. DNA which makes up all life is made up of four principle molecules. Gods name in Hebrew you guessed it four letters YHWH. The eden he made In the beginning had four rivers that crossed it, two of which still exist today. It seems clearly then that God left his fingerprints and name all over creation. It also seems apparent that God is highly intelligent for he did the math before we even discovered it.

Absolutely! God has ALL the science on His side. We can't even have science without God. Finally admitting that there is no evidence to support the claims of Christianity, is therapeutic. As a health care provider, you’re probably intelligent and educated. Take the next step. I don’t think you will regret it. For me, the fear of hell still existed, even though my rational thoughts told me that there is no reason to fear something that isn’t supported by evidence. It’s just PTSD from teaching children that they will be tortured if they don’t believe this ridiculous story. I told myself that if there is a god of some kind, then it knows that I looked for evidence that would be convincing, but found none. It can’t be mad at me for using the intellect that I was given. If it is loving, then it would give me the evidence that I need in order to believe in it. And if it doesn’t, and it tortures me for not believing a story with no evidence, then it is a monster and unworthy of worship in the first place. The Christian god is a monster in many stories and is unworthy of worship in them.

Evolution doesn't tell us how we somehow evolved in exactly the right place to magically live out our lives. That just doesn't make any sense. I also don't get how we evolved from monkeys when humans and monkeys are too completely different living beings. monkeys never developed morality along with an intellect. Humans did. there's just no hard evidence for evolution. if you try and argue this point with most university professors, they immediately get all hostile and try to shut you down! They just don't want to accept the truth. The book of Romans is definitely telling the truth, that people really do know God but they just deliberately don't believe in his existence. people intentionally suppress the knowledge of God in the Bible, claiming they never knew that God was real. That's a complete lie! even people who never hear the gospel of Jesus will have no excuses when they meet God after they die one day, because creation is hard physical evidence of God's existence. I can just imagine someone telling God that they never knew of his existence while realising suddenly that the plants, the stars, everything around them, prove his existence.

I am also a Christian scientist in the medical laboratory science and microbiology fields. I vowed to keep an open mind about evolutionary concepts when starting school, and each and every time, it continued to point me in the direction of creation, not support the ideas that it was presenting. There is so much unknown in the theory of evolution...creation actually offers a comprehensive answer to everything that is the human body and life. Bacteria are simple little creatures, in how they live and die...but they are still so complex that even 10 years of college on the subject barely scratched the surface. One can then surmise that multi-cellular beings are that much more complex, and having been in the medical field for nearly 13 years, that idea has proven vastly correct. The complexity of what humans are--what life is--is absolutely mindblowing...truly awesome in its glorification of God, and no amount of science trying to tell me there was no purpose behind it will ever make me believe otherwise.

God is not human, therefore you cannot put the same human limitations on him. Your idea of proof is something measurable, of which I am also well-aware of, and yes, just because the story of the Bible holds a visual proof of concept doesn't mean that it is the only thing one bases their belief on. Hence why I said look at Gideon. He asked God for proof time and time again, yet he still did not believe that God was with him. This is human nature, and no amount of physical proof will ever sway someone's belief to the contrary. It's what the Bible refers to as a "hardened heart". I could also tell you the proofs that I see in my daily life and the proof that I feel within myself about there being a God of the universe present in my life--even so much as the proof I have seen within the science field, as our biochemist in the video briefly discussed, but you would also scoff at that, so there is not much point in giving you "proof", now is there? Romans 3: 9-20 KJV, John 4:24 KJV, 1 Timothy 1:17 KJV, 2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV, 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV, 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV, John 16:8-9 KJV, Acts 16:30-31 KJV, Ephesians 1: 12-13 KJV, Matthew 8:22 KJV, Romans 4:1-8 KJV, Romans 5:19 KJV, Hebrews 10:14 KJV, Hebrews 10:10 KJV, Philippians 3:9 KJV, 1 John 3:9 KJV, Galatians 2:20-21 KJV, Romans 8:8-10 KJV, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 KJV, John 6:40 KJV, John 5:24-25 KJV, John 3:6-8 KJV, John 3:18 KJV, Jude 1:24-25 KJV, John 11:25-26 KJV wayofhim.com

The good thing bro, is that literally every question we have can be found in his Word. It's our desire for sin & pleasure, and leaning on our own understanding that prevents us from seeing the truth clearly. The key is full surrender... If we hold onto this world, our own ways, if we're proud, we can never see God because God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Always seek him for help! He has every solution covered! James 4:6 CSB But he gives greater grace. Therefore he says: God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Proverbs 3:5-8 NET Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. [6] Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. [7] Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. [8] This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self. Psalm 111:10 CSB The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his instructions have good insight. His praise endures forever. Psalm 119:9-48 NET How can a young person maintain a pure life? By guarding it according to your instructions. [10] With all my heart I seek you. Do not allow me to stray from your commands. [11] In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you. [12] You deserve praise, O LORD. Teach me your statutes. [13] With my lips I proclaim all the regulations you have revealed. [14] I rejoice in the lifestyle prescribed by your rules as if they were riches of all kinds. [15] I will meditate on your precepts and focus on your behavior. [16] I find delight in your statutes; I do not forget your instructions. [17] Be kind to your servant. Then I will live and keep your instructions. [18] Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law. [19] I am a resident foreigner in this land. Do not hide your commands from me. [20] I desperately long to know your regulations at all times. [21] You reprimand arrogant people. Those who stray from your commands are doomed. [22] Spare me shame and humiliation, for I observe your rules. [23] Though rulers plot and slander me, your servant meditates on your statutes. [24] Yes, I find delight in your rules; they give me guidance. [25] I collapse in the dirt. Revive me with your word. [26] I told you about my ways and you answered me. Teach me your statutes. [27] Help me to understand what your precepts mean. Then I can meditate on your marvelous teachings. [28] I collapse from grief. Sustain me by your word. [29] Remove me from the path of deceit. Graciously give me your law. [30] I choose the path of faithfulness; I am committed to your regulations. [31] I hold fast to your rules. O LORD, do not let me be ashamed. [32] I run along the path of your commands, for you enable me to do so. [33] Teach me, O LORD, the lifestyle prescribed by your statutes, so that I might observe it continually. [34] Give me understanding so that I might observe your law, and keep it with all my heart. [35] Guide me in the path of your commands, for I delight to walk in it. [36] Give me a desire for your rules, rather than for wealth gained unjustly. [37] Turn my eyes away from what is worthless. Revive me with your word. [38] Confirm to your servant your promise, which you made to the one who honors you. [39] Take away the insults that I dread. Indeed, your regulations are good. [40] Look, I long for your precepts. Revive me with your deliverance. [41] May I experience your loyal love, O LORD, and your deliverance, as you promised. [42] Then I will have a reply for the one who insults me, for I trust in your word. [43] Do not completely deprive me of a truthful testimony, for I await your justice. [44] Then I will keep your law continually now and for all time. [45] I will be secure, for I seek your precepts. [46] I will speak about your regulations before kings and not be ashamed. [47] I will find delight in your commands, which I love. [48] I will lift my hands to your commands, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.

hey . i just had a few questions about Christianity and i was hoping anyone give me logical answers to them..... please!!! ,may god reward you for guiding me to the truth.... i am just so curious how do you guys believe in a book whose oldest manuscript came 400 years after Jesús died? if anyone looked for the manuscripts that the bible was written from will know for sure that they were all different from each other... each manuscript told something different from the other.. that's why you have so many versions of the bible. how do you overcome the fact that all these different versions cant be ALL the words of god, let alone that each of them hasn't been once mistranslated when they were translated from aramic to Hebrew to Greek to English LET ALONE that any of these versions actually came from manuscripts that date to the days of Jesús? but they all came AT LEAST 400 years after him... how can someone come 400 years after the death of jesus and tell you to worship him and you accept that? so if i told you there was a guy living in 1600 who was the son of god, so you should worship him, will you believe me? thats exactly what you did with the bible! you don't know who wrote the bible! you don't know who told you to worship jesus with god! all the manuscripts that talk about the trinity never appeared until the 15th century !! how do you overcome all that?? even when you read the bible , who can you accept to worship a god that dies? that rests? that wakes up? for me god never dies ,nor wakes up, nor sleeps nor any of that.... how do you overcome the fact, that Christianity appeared during the roman empire who used to worship Zeus and say that he had a son named Hercules who saved the world. have you never thought that maybe from the 1st century to the 15 century people slowly got affected by that culture and started saying that jesus is the son of god and that he will save the world? while truly jesus was only another messenger like abraham , noah and others who came to tell you to worship only one god? when you see all these bible problems and realize that there is another book that is the same as it was 1400 years ago (earliest manuscripts match with what we have today), that never talks about all this trinity confusion but confirms that jesus was only a messenger and told us to worship one god? how does all this not spark anything in your mind??

In 2014 I cried out to God to help me because I was being tormented by demonic entities that did not give me rest day and night. I opened a door to them through unforgiveness toward my mother whom I had a turbulent relationship with throughout my life. The poison of unforgiveness was eating at my heart and soul causing me to be bitter, sad, depressed, angry and lost. At that time I did not know much or anything about Jesus. Then one day it got too much for me to handle and I cried out to God to help me. I was desperate. In the next few months my life began to change. I felt the presence of Jesus in my room asking me to forgive my mom, and to also forgive myself because I too caused much hurt. Coming from a Jewish background, it was almost taboo to speak about Him. During the time of my unforgiveness and bitterness I was being harassed by demonic spirits that I could not see but I could sense. They caused me to have sleep paralysis, be depressed, angry and kept me up at night. One day someone had dropped off a flier at my door and I just took it and put it by my bed, not thinking too much about it. Then in the evening when I was feeling so down, my eyes glanced over this flier and there was a scripture about the love of Jesus. It was a short and to the point scripture verse but the words were so powerful, my soul knew it was the truth. And when I read those words, they penetrated through all the pain and confusion and there was a glimmer of hope beginning to bubble up in me. So during my sleep paralysis, I heard a voice inside my spirit telling me to pray to “Jesus Christ, Yeshua”. I could not move my body or my mouth, but as the words “Help me Jesus, Help me Yeshua '' formulated in my mind, whatever entity was pinning me down to the bed lifted off immediately and I was able to move again. I ran outside and called my husband on the phone crying because I had never experienced anything like this. This began my journey with the Lord. He spoke to me in my spirit and told me to “Arise” out of bed when I was so down and depressed. He showed me that there is hope and His name is powerful. It was a process and a journey of sanctification and as I began reading about Jesus, and his life, the more I fell in love with Him. I knew He is the Messiah our people (the Jewish people) had denied for so long. I still did not have a bible at that time and did not give my life to Him at that point, because I just didn't know what I needed to do to be saved. During this time of being unsaved, the devil tempted me in so many ways and I ended up committing sins that were atrocious and an abomination. BUT GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS CHRIST did not give up on me. In 2015 I felt His presence even stronger and I began repenting of my past sins and the Lord began closing doors that needed to be closed and opening new doors that needed to be opened in my life. In December of 2016 I felt in my spirit the Lord speaking to me asking me to get baptized and to get a Bible and to start reading His Word. And I obeyed. After I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit, I began to be guided into all truth. Things I was oblivious to previously as being sinful, God was showing me through the Holy Spirit that I was deceived and I needed to let them go so I could serve Him. Couple of examples were the participation in Halloween and doing yoga. As a saved believer, I could no longer participate in these demonic occult practice. It was like a sharp sword of conviction in my heart. I LOVE the Lord so much because He transformed my heart and life completely and in such a gentle loving Fatherly way. I am a completely different person today than I was 10 years ago because of His Love for me. I desire to please Him and to obey Him and to spend one day in eternity with Him. He gave His life for me and for many people and He wants to save us from being separated from Him for eternity and from going to the pits of Hell. I just give Him the Glory, Honor, Power and Blessings for the miracles He has done in my life and the miracles He can and wants to do in every person's life. To God be the Glory. Amen

This guy Sy Garte assumes many things: 1) He assumes the Jesus was a historical character , but he was not. . Jesus was an invention of the Romans . 2) All Jesus' teachings were made up by the Romans , a message of pacifism to combat the revolt and uprising of the Jews against the Roman occupation of Israel and the subjugation of the Jews. .3) He is a Biochemist , dealing only with a tiny field of Science 4) Obviously he has not read the Bible .5) He assumes there is a god without any evidence. 6) His whole faith and belief is entirely based on the "god of the gaps" mantra. 7) Like all "good Christians" I have known in my life, he is self -absorbed , finding bliss in blindness , apathy and wilful ignorance of the suffering of people around the world particularly children. I was a sinner. I was best friends with the devil at one point and didn’t even know it. I was walking in the same direction as the devil. I was into women, and all types of sexual impurity but glory be to God one morning I was getting ready to go have sex again and I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me and told me no more, that I needed to change my life and I answered the call, and ever since me and God has been in a intimate relationship and he has delivered me from so much! He has blessed me with a loving husband, so many things I couldn’t even imagine. When you hear that voice telling you to slow down and to stop or to change your life please answer the call, God loves you and wants you completely turn your life around. Accept him into your heart, turn from your wicked ways, and see the Glory of God on your life! I love you and God does too. You should be, you are as stooo-pid as he was. Hitch who pretends to know the bible as he screws up on it over and over again including what faith means biblically. --"Faith is the surrender of the mind, it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other animals. It's our need to believe and to surrender our skepticism and our reason, our yearning to discard that and put all our trust or faith in someone or something, that is the sinister thing to me. ... Out of all the virtues, all the supposed virtues, faith must be the most overrated”-- Christopher Hitchens Now, look at what biblical faith really means that Hitch the liar didn't even look at: Biblically, faith means trust. It's a trust by evidence seen. God asks that we prove things. To reason. To get knowledge. To study. God has nothing to hide. We develop trust from what is seen, and that which is not seen yet is trusted also because of the trust built up from what is seen. It's much like a human relationship. We don't trust much until a person has gained that trust from what is observed. The difference is though, God is not limited to human powers. He created us. Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYuqk4aoq6qEgtE crossexamined.org/biblical-faith-vs-blind-faith/ www.truthortradition.com/articles/what-does-the-bible-say-about-faith www.revisedenglishversion.com/Appendix/16/Faith_is_Trust www.truthortradition.com/articles/faith-a-confident-expectation-of-gods-promises-coming-to-pass www.truthortradition.com/articles/hebrews-1-11-and-faith Hitchens always went into evasive word antics to avoid key questions like how we got the creation of the universe. We can't even get science without God. The laws of nature only can come from a Lawgiver, God. Life only comes from life. Law of biogenesis. God is the reason for us and all we have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJqwoq2ElL6Gjrc The odds are NOT there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWLCfHiMlqisl6M kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4icmJStr79_qc0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpXEooarqdlol9k

Wow, that first dream he discussed is so fascinating to me. You expect to hear that he would be caught from falling and interpret that it was just a demonstration of the meaning of faith where he learns to trust in something he doesn't fully understand. And it certainly was that, but then the fact that he was not simply caught from his fall, but that Jesus changed his perception of reality if not reality itself to save him from his situation is really profound.

It seems like a beautiful metaphor for death. Dying could be a horrible struggle to hold on, but through faith in Jesus, we can truly let go. And in letting go, the danger disappears. The danger was real, but it was a result of our subjective perception of reality - our lack of faith, our distance from God - and faith in the Lord changes that reality. We are saved.

I was an atheist for sometime now and I used to be one. However as I searched for evidence of god. I became agnostic because when i was atheist it didn’t feel right for me to be atheist. I question myself and my atheism. I then had the feeling that there had to be something that created us and it exists here whether we like it or not. I even mocked Christianity and then when I did it didn’t feel right for me to not believe in god and disprove his existence this is what led me to Christian agnosticism. Even though I want to believe science has the answers to everything it actually doesn’t. I felt weak without god and when I called out to him it made me more peaceful and I can confirm that he is with us. I just can’t deny that he exists. God might be real because of my testimony as a former atheist. There had to be something out there who created everything around us. I then left religion but I didn’t leave god completely. And when I do it makes me feel like I can’t live without him. Atheism doesn’t have the answers because science is not disproving god’s existence nor proving it. My belief now lays in believing in god. God doesn’t force anyone to believe in him that’s why he gave us free will for a reason. Now before anyone tells me that I don’t believe in science and evolution. I do accept everything in science and evolution. I put god because someone during the Big Bang had to make it happen. God is the one who made it happen and it makes totally sense to me that he is our creator. Hopefully I can get into heaven though it might look like it’s worthwhile. Yes I’m Christian and agnostic as well. I want to meet the potential people who might’ve had an impact on society.

‏Anthony Flew is considered one of the most prominent atheists, so he retracted his atheism and told us that the universe has a deity with modern scientific evidence, not with thought or dreams and feeling, but after science and modern discoveries about the existence of a Creator. ‏Say, if you wish, there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God ‏ speak from the heart .ً

book of Acts contradicts Paul's own writings. In the book of Acts ch 13, 14, 15, Paul is acting in harmony with James and Peter, he listens to them and they to him. In contrast, In his own letters or epistles, Paul is arguing against these super apostles, who are not any more authoritative than he was. Having said this, Acts 21 is very curious to me. 18 The next day Paul went in with us to see James, and all the elders were there. 19 When Paul had greeted them, he began to explain in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. 20 When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all ardent observers of the law. 21 They have been informed about you-that you teach all the Jews now living among the Gentiles to abandon Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs. 22 What then should we do? They will no doubt hear that you have come. So, here, we are told that there were MANY THOUSANDS of Christian Jews, who 'have believed" meaning they are Christians, and yet, they follow Moses and they have heard some bad things about Paul's teachings. Now, what about James and the others? Why are they so comfortable among these believing brethren? Apparently, James and others are comfortable because he doesn't agree with Paul, which confirms Paul's own writings on this too.

Romans 3: 9-20 KJV, John 4:24 KJV, 1 Timothy 1:17 KJV, 2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV, 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV, 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV, John 16:8-9 KJV, Acts 16:30-31 KJV, Ephesians 1: 12-13 KJV, Matthew 8:22 KJV, Romans 4:1-8 KJV, Romans 5:19 KJV, Hebrews 10:14 KJV, Hebrews 10:10 KJV, Philippians 3:9 KJV, 1 John 3:9 KJV, Galatians 2:20-21 KJV, Romans 8:8-10 KJV, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 KJV, John 6:40 KJV, John 5:24-25 KJV, John 3:6-8 KJV, John 3:18 KJV, Jude 1:24-25 KJV, John 11:25-26 KJV wayofhim.com

I thank God and also thank this man for his testimony. I also came to the saving knowledge of Christ although through a more convoluted way probably because I resisted even the obvious and so God had to turn the screws on me. Dabbling into occultism unleashed a bizarre form of spiritual attack on me that to this day still blows my mind when i think of it. In the throes of my misery I ran to Christ and He saved me. Now I know there's more to this world than meets the eye. Matter of fact, I'm "this" close to concluding that most of what we call life and living is a cocktail brew and montage designed to obfuscate and blind us to reality. The only reality that matters is Christ the Messiah, while every other thing is an effort to blur that reality. The music, the entertainment, the politics, and an endless array of other things all seem to conspire to distract and smudge away that reality. But I thank God that as in my case God will go the whole 9yards to rescue the perishing; He is bringing many back from the brink.

hey . i just had a few questions about Christianity and i was hoping anyone give me logical answers to them..... please!!! ,may god reward you for guiding me to the truth.... i am just so curious how do you guys believe in a book whose oldest manuscript came 400 years after Jesús died? if anyone looked for the manuscripts that the bible was written from will know for sure that they were all different from each other... each manuscript told something different from the other.. that's why you have so many versions of the bible. how do you overcome the fact that all these different versions cant be ALL the words of god, let alone that each of them hasn't been once mistranslated when they were translated from aramic to Hebrew to Greek to English LET ALONE that any of these versions actually came from manuscripts that date to the days of Jesús? but they all came AT LEAST 400 years after him... how can someone come 400 years after the death of jesus and tell you to worship him and you accept that? so if i told you there was a guy living in 1600 who was the son of god, so you should worship him, will you believe me? thats exactly what you did with the bible! you don't know who wrote the bible! you don't know who told you to worship jesus with god! all the manuscripts that talk about the trinity never appeared until the 15th century !! how do you overcome all that?? even when you read the bible , who can you accept to worship a god that dies? that rests? that wakes up? for me god never dies ,nor wakes up, nor sleeps nor any of that.... how do you overcome the fact, that Christianity appeared during the roman empire who used to worship Zeus and say that he had a son named Hercules who saved the world. have you never thought that maybe from the 1st century to the 15 century people slowly got affected by that culture and started saying that jesus is the son of god and that he will save the world? while truly jesus was only another messenger like abraham , noah and others who came to tell you to worship only one god? when you see all these bible problems and realize that there is another book that is the same as it was 1400 years ago (earliest manuscripts match with what we have today), that never talks about all this trinity confusion but confirms that jesus was only a messenger and told us to worship one god? how does all this not spark anything in your mind??

@@deadboltzz5199 who said jesus rose from the dead? in islam we believe when he was about to get crucified god rose him up and he will come back down at the end of the world......maybe jesus was prophecied about in 740 bc but you have absolutely 0 evidence that in 740 bc someone said he is god or any of that, which leaves the path open that islam is the right religion espicially that you couldn't refute ANY of my evidence on maunscripts.... the amount of evidence there is that proves islam is right and that nothing in christianity makes sense is incredible my friend for anybody that does research. i will list to you right now many questions and i challenge you to answer one of them or disprove one of them about islam. ..why should we be punished for what adam did? ..why should god die so that he can forgive? why not just forgive ? in islam he just forgave adam.. ..how can a god rest,sleep,wake up ? ..why would god use many sexual phrases in the bible? cant he find better ways of saying things? " we have a sister that have no breasts" song of songs ect.... ..how can there be 3 gods and at the same time 1? trinity makes no sense ..why does the bible have inaccuracies in many stories but when you see these same stories in the quran you dont see these inaccuracies (which is also one of many things that demolishes the claim that the quran was copied from the bible) one example: story of joseph son of jacob, in the bible it says pharoh of egypt while in the quran it says king of egypt if you see what historians said you will know at the time of joseph, the ruler was called king not pharoh .. forget about all the above questions, answer one of my many questions related to the manuscripts.. how can you trust the people who wrote the bible ? compare with the quran.. how the quran was transfered. you will find a HUGE difference my friend... we have many qurans that date to the days of mohamed.... and in addition to that, another method of transfer for the quran is memorization. since mohamed made others memorize the quran, generation after generation have been memorizing it. if anyone now memorized the quran he can get a certificate with the ones that taught him all the way back to mohamed.... so with all that being said, tell me ONE THING that makes sense in christianity? christianity is simply two things: 1: the result of 2000 years worth of manuscripts that all contradict one another, 2: priests putting no rules and tolerating everything claiming everyone is loved so that they can make money out of everyone.... if you use the simplest of your mind you will know there is : ..no money without work ..no success without effort ..no love from god unless you stick to his rules, obey him and be a good person.. thats what islam teaches

@@179rich hey pretend bible expert... How did you get around the first verses of the bible with God creating and giving life? So if you want to pretend to be smart, please give me the laugh by giving your science how creation really happened by natural means. Also, throw in how we got the laws of nature, naturally. Thank you Dr Garte for your amazing testimony. I love science because I love learning how things work in the universe. But my quest for that knowledge has always been with the knowledge that God exists and He is the creator of everything. I grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age. So everything that was taught to me in school about science always had a God perspective for me even if the teachers taught differently. It is edifying to the Christian body at large to hear your journey of detailed scientific analysis that confirms what some of us already knew by faith. Diving deep into the biological and physical depths of the universe, for me, is simply a pursuit to know more about who God is. I see Him in everything. And everything makes sense when one understands and believes that He is behind it all. "When I gaze into the night sky and see the works of Your fingers - the moon and stars suspended in space.... Oh Lord, Our God, the Majesty and Glory of Your Name transcends the Earth and fills the Heavens."

Thank you for sharing this @Mannfan12! I was born into Christianity and I Know that God is the creator of everything. But at age 25-26 I found myself completely lost and seeking the real meaning of life. I feel like although I had grown up knowing God and his goodness, more than anything I was taught about all the things I couldn't do, how condemned I am if I make sinful mistakes. I don't blame my parents for not teaching me better, they taught me the best they understood. But there is sometimes so much judgement within church, that at one point I turned to the world and because I felt like such a sinner unworthy of a relationship with God I kind of completely lost myself. I would never commit suicide because I knew better than that. But so many times I wondered why I was born, was it truly just to live a life of suffering. I lacked so much understanding. I was at a very low point in my life and I was crying out to God to give me true understanding of life, my purpose, why I was created. And he answered me or so I think it was him who led me to discover more about metaphysics. So much understanding came with it, I feel like I had discovered my life purpose but for some reason today, I'm questioning if what I'm studying is correct under God's eyes. I know he is the creator, but why did I never know about everything that I am learning now through Metaphysics. Why is it not taught in church? I know I need to keep seeking God to reveal the answer, but I just don't want to feel in that low and dark place I was once in while awaiting an answer/revelation from God. I just don't want to feel like I am doing something sinful under his Eyes. I have felt so confused today.

@@tulliusagrippa5752 I came to my faith organically and authentically I still believe as deeply as I did when first became a Christian at the age of 22 Like this guy I wasn't raised a Christian no one did anything to convenience to be one I went into it whole heart body soul and spirit and knew exactly what I was doing I was not even close to being gullible.

@@tulliusagrippa5752 yes, 20 is a gullible age indeed 🤔 about the age most atheists are when they first turn atheist... How weird that I was exactly 20 when I became atheist. Atheism was once my folly, but thank God I no longer suffer from such ignorance. I've prayed for people in Jesus' name and broken bones miraculously healed instantly, a broken wrist and a broken leg, severe internal bleeding healed miraculously in Jesus' name, a knee heading for surgery healed miraculously without medical aid. All in Jesus' name... Perhaps go read 'The Case for Christ'. It's about a radical atheist who set out to debunk Christianity after his wife converted... Quite the good read.
