If Joseph thought the baby was his why was he trying to get rid of Mary? We know in the books of Luke that Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months Luke 1:56 (KJV) And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. I would say that is enough time to breed suspicion in the mind of Joseph, so maybe a Hebrew Israelite can provide a suitable reason for Joseph wanting to “put her away”

On what basis are the sons of God in Genesis 6:2 called that same thing in your mind? There is no talk of a virgin birth for them either, yet they are clearly called the sons of God🤔. The real question is “What” makes you a True Son of God?

@@BernieD1968 Luke 1: 34-35 gives the spiritual basis for Jesus being called the Son of God. I don't see how you can get past that. We have to be born again to be called a fellow son of God with Jesus...why isn't our natural birth good enough? Jesus asked how can he be son of David if David calls him Lord...
