that was the issue with mw2019. they just showed a dead version of what people like. so they just showed dead kids, dogs, parents. it was such artificial shock value that by the end of the game, you weren't all that shocked

Idk,they tried to show both sides of the coin in COD CW by showing you that every country did horrible things those times for their nations,how it ended? People literally missunderstanding it and choosing the soviet ending because "it's the best for the protagonist" (despite that ending being that you nuke europe and start WW3 or some makarov level sh1t like that with perseus) and also ended up hating adler whose was an anti-hero and not a villain like many claim. This whole thing started because people thought the game would have a 9 11 mission even though the leaks from 2 years ago and the developers said it was set in the gulf war. People should see how it went with cold war, not set during the 50a to 90s but actually just 1981 with a single flashback.

If the game was set in the early 2000s then yes they definitely should at least mention it. It’s been over 20 years since it’s happened so Americans being cry babies about it was a just disgraceful ( and yes I’m American and yes I was born before the event, although I was just a baby when it happened)

Yes there would be people who react very negatively and perhaps irrationally so, but come on man calling them cry babies is immature, and unempathetic. 9/11 happened years before i was born, and my family has no ties to New York or anyone involved, so I’m not at all emotionally tied. But portraying 9/11 in call of duty I think would be very distasteful, it can have relevance, and it can be a part of the story if a game takes place at that time, but if we got a No Russian styled mission for a real atrocity that only happened 23 years ago, that would be messed up. The world and many people are still reeling from that tragedy.

Black ops 1 had a time era difference too. BO2 did it too so not new. I enjoyed it though. With how many conspiracy theories & CIA with September events though it’d be interesting & battle of najaf even just look it up though. We should ask questions though I enjoyed BO1 for making you wanted to do that.

Gaming might change in the future so might effect like in 2060 where they do a mission on 911 back in in real life 2001 but the game is in 2060 but in that year gaming might be different or alot will have changed sense right now 2024 so we have 36 until if they make a game based on real life stuff or stuff that happens in real life in in the up coming years like wars currently going on real people or still like that but wars going on are more current then 2001 rl but 2024 rl is more current but 2001 is 59 years later until 2060

@@TheGamingRevo what real world events do you want involving Saddam in the 90s or 00s. I get what you're pointing to, but there is far more to tie Iraq to the ussr than any part of America, unless Saddam is an ally to the CIA, as America funded the Mujahideen during the Russo-Afghanistan war, while both sides-ing the situation with Iraq in assistance to Israel. We already have a confirmed Mussad agent, I'd look down this rabbit hole for a story. 9/11 being included wouldn't make any sense, unless they make this whole "the government has been infiltrated" into a two game thing, and set the 2025 release in 2001. Btw, new footage released last week from 9/11 showing Saudi special forces casing the wtc complex, and potentially planting explosives, two of the hijackers were with them.

@@knolsey I never made any connections as such in this video and only ever said the speculation was based on rumors the game would be covering many events in the 90s and 2000s, not all of which necessarily being related. At that point we had no idea what the overarching story of bo6 would be.

@@TheGamingRevo mate, oompaville did a wonderful two part series on the CIA, I highly suggest watching it. I'd also take that and then rewatch this video, as your criticism is very valid, but those leaks weren't even leaks lol, just dumb kids memeing a sad event in history. Activision will never paint America badly, as cod is one of the US military's greatest recruiting tools, and that's why they are paid so well. All I am saying is, I am sure they will do some real world things as usual, but I'd expect a whole lot of red scare propaganda to be surrounding the Saddam stuff, not anything about attacks on America. It's a real shame, seeing as shadow company is just blackwater, and they could do so much with this in a future modern warfare, by starting with war crimes by an early shadow company within the BO7 setting of the 2000s now that everything is in the same universe. I absolutely expect some major Israel ties though, as the current US agitprop is to shore up support for the Israeli genocide, and if I am right this is a giant mistake, as this will not just blow over like the highway of death scenario.
