yep, I will never sell this thing! I am fucking love it! I'm always using this on my every gig!

I own an ME70 that I used long before I got the Pod Go. I still use it with my Fender and Vox amps. And it sounds great and is smaller than the pedalboard. I still prefer the pedalboard. I like the looper function on it. Simple but effective but the Boss presets are not very good but if I use it I just use it as a stomp box. I actually left it at the church with an amp and all I had to take was the guitar for the rehearsals and services and it was really good for that but now I use the Pod Go which serve my purposes better. The Me 80 is better. A friend of mine has an ME80 he uses for bar gigs.

I’m really loving the BOSS GT-1 for gigs. Smaller than the ME80 and packs a mighty punch!

I really like the zoom g1xfour unit. The sounds are quite good.

Have the ME-80 for 2 years now, play it on daily basis for practice and and once in 2 weeks on stage. Love it, the only downside in comparison to the GT-3 is, that it doesn't have real stereo sound effects.....

the M80 has a 6 seconds delay, which is awesome for Frippetronics, and the ME90's 800ms max delay time is a joke. I am soooo sorry I sold my 80.. I went down the rabbit hole of multiple effects and owned (and sold): a Pod-Go, a ME-90, a GX-100, a GT1, and a line6 HXFX, but, the truth is I'm gonna go back to my first love and get myself a quality used ME80, and be happily playing ever after.

Have you tried running an acoustic through the ME80? I am curious if it would work well.....?
@JoshGordonGuitar3 ай бұрын
No, haven’t tried an acoustic

Hi, would you suggest a separate EQ pedal (BOSS GE7) so that you can have another free pedal to tinker with? Much thanks from the Philippines 😊
@JoshGordonGuitar3 ай бұрын
You could add a pedal like that. But I think this unit has most things covered.

Why my me80 cannot sound great when Rec out/Phones(3.65mm jack) is not plug-in? Please help... Does it need to plug it in all the time
@JoshGordonGuitar5 ай бұрын
I don't use the ME80 anymore. However, I believe the trick is to have a "dummy cable" plugged into the REC Out to activate a simulated cabinet. I believe that's why you are hearing a difference.
@TheEnd-vn9rb5 ай бұрын
Yep just keep it plugged in.
@josepholushola32523 ай бұрын
Yes, having a dummy 3,5mm jack plugged in will make a wide difference. You need to plug it in at all times to enjoy the cab

It's just lofi enough to still sound analogue! As modellers supposedly improve, the fact that they're digital is only revealed further.

I can't get ME80 anymore. Do you have any other brand/model option?

Hi Josh , this ME80 is now obsolete because now in 2024 Boss has released the ME90!!!!!!!
@JoshGordonGuitarАй бұрын
Yup, I am familiar with the ME90. I think the only big difference from the ME80 s the ability to load Its though. Either unit is still good in my opinion :)
