Is the Canon 60D Good for YouTube Videos?

I still have the 60D, and I'm going to use it as a You tube Camara.

@@nikinikinikin It is actually a pretty good Camara. If you have the 60d available I would recommend it as it is for you tube. Recently I purchased a fujifilm xh1 which is far superior, however needed a Camara to record myself talking about it etc and you wouldn't really know the difference in HD. However, if you are going to get a new camera I would recommend a newer Camara as the Autofocus function has really improved. Presently though I am actually looking out for a dedicated Camcorder as it honestly makes recording so much easier. Especially the lens are the type that holds focus when zooming.

@@molineschildren6886 I managed to get a Canon 50mm f1.8 Stm so that the cost of the lens isn't too much. It works really well.

I’ve had this camera since it first came out. While the technology is now a little dated, you can still use it for video as long as you know its limitations. Shooting at f5.6 in manual mode is good enough. Just use the magnification button to get sharp focus and you should be good.

The 60D does not have DPAF or does it. It has Face tracking mode, (DPAF) in video, sometimes it even focuses on the eyes but does not stay, just a glimpse. Also get an RC6 remote. In live mode you have to wait until it focuses on your face then use the remote to record. Or press record and it will find your face. I have been using this camera since it was first release. The face tracking it not as fast as the newer cameras but it is still great. It will also pick up multiple faces in video. I've shot concerts with it and it focuses on at least three faces at once in LIVE MODE.

So, can I use Canon 60D for outdoor KZbin video? I have 60D bought in 2011, never used to its potential. Can you please guide me how to make live view working? I love live view on LCD display rather than that small electronic viewfinder.

I'm told that the 60D stops apparently because the memory chip isn't fast enough. That's just what I was told. Take it with a grain of salt.

the 60D stops because you dont have the right SD card, you need a gold SD card with a large amount of memory.
