Is the Canon R5II ENOUGH?

I used to shoot Canon 10 years ago (i had the Canon 5DMIII). Then i completely switched to Sony. To me Canon R5II is the perfect all rounder! Great Video btw! keep it up

@@robbycastillo1717 mark iii in it's day was an incredible camera! Pure professional workhorse. And I really hope you are right that R5II will be great. What are you shooting on now? Did you switch?

@@DreadyEddy I shoot with the Sony A7RV and A1. Both amazing cameras! A1 being 4 years old is still amazing. A camera i could keep forever. I hope the RII will be great too. Being the second gen it should be fine. (i expected it to be) 100% agree on the 5DMKIII. I wish i have never sold it and kept it paired with the 35mm F1.4

I'm in the same boat. I need a small IBIS cam to pair with my C70. But the R5 mkii's image may not be up to snuff. For one, the 4K60p is not oversampled. his means other cheaper Canon cameras may have better looking 4K60, like the R6 and R8. The 45 megapixel sensor causes a lot of problems to downsample, like heat and processing power.

C400 looks like a great camera, but so much bigger. I wouldn't use it in the same situations as a little hybrid cam.

Sony has really been struggling the last couple years, just repackaged the same camera in more expensive bodies and hoping the hype train will keep chooching along.

For sure they do try and add everything to each of their cameras which is great for the less expensive as they get tools in them that they might not get with canon 😅 oh I just don't know anymore. Only time will tell if I stay with canon lol
