Very nice great video. I have that lens and use it. I like it. I use to use a UV filter on my lenses, but I haven’t been doing it for years. Maybe I should go back to doing that especially for lots of my photography because you’re outdoors. What do you suggest? Can you tell any difference when you use a UV filter or not? I always have my left hand under the cam and my thumb continually sets per touch the focus points, so I cant reach the ring to change settings over the ring.

Great video! Your voice is soothing lol. I use the control ring for white balance. Half press shutter is the only way to activate it to prevent accidental changes.

Without the DOF window (focus index/feet/meters/dof) on the lenses, does it show up in EVF/LCD screen? Meaning this wide angle is useless if it doesn't behave like Hasselblad CF lenses. Many pros can focus much faster if display information is on the lenses like dated Hasselblad/Canon/Nikon/Minolta lens

Indeed it is. Most landscape photos are shot with wide lenses, though you can basically use any lens you want.

Question on filters, some vloggers claim filters ' dumb' down the performance of the high quality glass on high end lenses and do not use them unless they are out in bad weather. Comments NE1?

There's always going to be a tiny bit of quality reduction when using a filter, yeah. I use more expensive Sigma filters, instead of the cheapest ones that I could find. The B-roll in this video was shot using a filter. Did anything jump out at you in terms of quality? If not, then obviously using a filter doesn't degrade quality to any noticeable degree :)

Is a very versatil lens, for astrophotografy is very good, for street video is very good, for sport video (skate for example) is very good, very fast focus! but, for portrait is mmmmm the focal distance is not good for portrait (too near to the person or subject). F too wide is not friend of focus or speed. f2.8 is a real and usefull apperture. I have it lens, it is very comparable to sigma 18-35 (apsc) in canon r7 (I have canon r6 with 15-35 rf). The sigma lens in apsc have usefull focal distance and the sharp is good, but is best for video. Emmmm rf 15-35 in 15mm is very bad for video, the corners have a lot of distortion when I record video while to walk (in 24fps), in a minimal focal distance is best use tripod. Is not comparable this lens with 85mm rf l f1.2, different use and format (super angular lens vs telephoto portrait lens). The question is: 15-35mm or 35mm sigma 1.4f lens?
