100% agree. I always thought opening packs is half the fun. Having other people open packs "for you" seemed kinda weird to me. Tried whatnot once and won a couple bids, definitely over paid and took over a week to ship out. Never again 😅

I love breakers. I need them. So my sealed collection gains purpose. 🔥

I agree with your point that searching for "the hit" and disregarding other cards as trash or useless is bad for the hobby and not what the hobby is supposed to be about. However, I don't feel like this is exclusive to break culture. Someone opening stuff themselves and saying they get nothing and being angry about not getting the singular chase is just as bad. The mentality is the issue. Obviously scams are a problem too, but those are never going to go away. People need to be careful who they buy from

If Pokémon improves its video game mechanics, it will bring back so many players towards it. It seems the game mechanics are slightly behind where they should be. That's part of why Palworld is a new competitor now(not counting the lawsuit stuff)

Not a fan of breaking & breakers but I get the kick some people have if their packs are opened by someone and get reactions from online friends and the breaker instead of opening packs by themselves, alone at home without people who care what they do/ pull. Do I think that is healthy for the hobby or for the person using that "service"? No (and don't get me started on scamming potential). Would I, personally, ever use a breaker? Absolutely not, but I have a community to share the fun with (in real life and online). Can I understand some of the lonelier people using them? Yes. Having said that, in times of overhype and lack of products, breakers are to me what flippers/ scalpers are: getting their hands on stuff they really don't want for themselves to sell for a margin. Last but not least, I really don't like how many breakers disrespect the cards and artists, hyper-focusing on the "big hits" and sometimes even tearing cards apart or throwing them around. Disgusting.

@@macc_jpgaming6713 EXACTLY! I agree. Yes, breaking in its own is a community, but the lack of caring is enormous and it forces the joy of the hobby to be lost and diminished.
