Here's my ideas for why Silver and Feraligatr say "WHERE?" and "Even..." respectively: WHERE? = Gold and Typhlosion didn't come back from the summit of Mt. Silver, so Feraligatr is wondering where they are or where they've been. Another possibility could be that since he has no eyes, he's asking Gold and Typh where are they, or asking Silver where are they. Even... = Silver is stuck in the same hellish afterlife Gold is, both having no eyes to boot, and being the prick he is, wastes no time in sticking it to him that they're even now.

Even now, this game still somewhat unnerves me. Sure, it uses some tired creepypasta cliches (cursed video game cart with lots of death), but it at least does so in a more subtle way. I think the "Hidden" path is a lot better, since its scare factor comes from things being just plain off (i.e. distorted music, sprites being stripped of things such as their faces and Feraligatr's scales).

Also, the decreasing health of his Pokemon was to show that, no matter how long you train them and no matter how powerful they become, in the "reality" of Pokemon, even they will eventually weaken and die, along with their trainers. The increased number of badges is symbolic to how, in the Anime, Red/Ash is constantly traveling and defeating more gym leaders, but it takes up more and more of his life as he does, eventually he'll lose his eye-sight to old age, and inevitably, he'll "fade away."

i honestly always assumed lost silver had a hidden story hear me out on this I've always believed the in-game story is about gold dying of hypothermia while climbing mount silver, the beginning is his attempt at going to the afterlife, but due to him never getting to fight red, he can't rest in peace and he is essentially stuck in limbo. The rest of the game is him trying to make it out of limbo and to try to finally reach the afterlife, the red near the end of the game is a representation of the dream he never got to complete, hence why it ends in a stalemate. And the ending is a representation of him finally finding peace and ascending into the afterlife

Personally, the only thing I found scary was working on this. Creating the music and altering the sprites felt wrong at first, the reveresed Unown music was horrible to listen to at 2AM. So yeah guys, feel proud for not getting scared, just know that it isn't the intention. It's a story that was told, which a lot of people found scary.

I wish more creepypasta was like this, cryptic and puzzling more than outright scary or disturbing. There’s definitely a creepy undertone but I’m more intrigued by how nonsensical it all is. Provides a certain surrealist quality to it all honestly reminds me of Petscop a lot in that way and I wouldn’t be surprised if it took major inspiration from this as I know it did with BEN DROWNED.

Silver has a bit of a bigger role in Re: Lost Silver at the end of the second secret path, that was intended to be added by the original creepypasta author but finally got added in a remake of Lost Silver by the original creator of the fangame (Reidd). However, the author never said that he was in the second secret path, but because so little details were given about the second secret route on how it's sequences went, Reidd didn't have much to work with, so decided to add a Silver encounter that fit with the story to end of the secret path. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up Re: Lost Silver.

Great recreation, but it would have been nice to be able to lose. Example: Trying to use Nightmare when the LV 96 was still awake, having Nightmare fail because it was awake, and then getting owned and having to start over. Some random encounters in the caves and grass would have also been good, even though the story didn't mention any of that. Also the game time was 999:99 not 999:59. I remember you saying in another video description that the Pokedex was unimportant. (Continued next post.)

To be frank, I like this game, despite the fact that I get scared easily by... well, the majority of creepypastas. I think it's because this game does a good job of being creepy with their... creeps. This "creepypasta" doesn't go "BLEH JUMP SCARE RED EYES BLUHBLUHBLUH YOU CAN'T RUN" (which happens to be the ones that scare me the most) yadda-yadda-yadda. They're subtle about it, using a sort-of philosphical approach to it, making you think about the game and why it does what it does. I dunno...
