I own Y600 that I use for transportation to work and some recreational urban trail riding. Decent amount of torque and more playful then other more common scooter designs. There’s a lot more performance and stability in good ol tubes n tires. I always add the speed unlock before riding and that’s why I don’t get great mileage but it’s enough and the only way to go!!

Thank you so much for checking out the video! Truly appreciate it! I’m a taller guy at 6’ but even at top speed it felt stable, I tried it at a few different height levels but found right up to my mid stomach area was a perfect area to have grip and balance with it!

Excellent review i was debating on this ,ausom 🐆 , kqi300x and ninebot g2. Ultimately i went for ninebot for that great suspension and they always have parts available on their website. But when i went to finally pay for it i kept getting a computer glitch. And the black fri s cyber mon sale was over. So then i wanted the ausom🐆 but i didn’t know if they had warranty or customer service thats good. So i eventually ended getting the niu kqi300x which i might regret getting. And i bought the kqi100p for $249.00 as an emergency scooter. But if i had seen this review i would have gotten this engue one because i want a seated scooter i can take on subway daily. I only wonder about their customer service? And arts availability? But for the price im going to still get it on my next check i love this 50$ off is definitely making it worth my while along with all features. Ine thing i didn’t notice is what are tired made of? Tubes? Tubeless?

How many miles does this exactly run before the full battery dies out?
@DrewEliaАй бұрын
That depends on a a lot of factors, your riding style, terrain, weather, temperature, your weight, I ride mostly flat land and weigh 100 kg or 220 lbs and was in top speed mode the entire time, you can get mid 20s miles of range on a single charge. So a lot of factors. Lighter riders will get more range out of it, heavier riders will get less
@nibirumyself1Ай бұрын
Great review, Drew. Now, I just received mine today. First off, it's well designed and beautiful. With that being said, I noticed a couple issues straight away. I didn't receive any screws to install the footplate. The other thing was the fold down mechanism that enables the riding position and folding position to take place. It doesn't lock as I think it should when you lift up the handlebars. Shouldn't it lock when raised up so you can ride? The red lever that you step on to fold it seems to be the issue. I've watched a few videos, including yours to see where the red lever is when you unpacked it and when you're riding it. It's clearly up (above the pin) when you're riding correct? Well, my red lever is only up when it's in the folded position. There's no way technical wise it can be above the pin when it's in the upright position. I've been messin with it for the past 2 hours and either I'm a bit retarded or this piece was installed backwards or something equivalent to that. Any thoughts? Thanks...
@DrewEliaАй бұрын
The folding and unfolding definitely took some effort to push it into place. I said the same thing when I received mine. I thought the white piece was suppose to be removed but it’s what holds it in place. The screws that you need are already there when you remove the seat you just reuse the bolts that are there to put the rear red foot hold back in the suspension
@nibirumyself1Ай бұрын
@DrewElia Thank you. 5 minutes before you replied, I took the advice of another Y600 owner that responded to my comment on another thread. I pushed the front tire up against a wall and pushed the handlebars up with a bit more force. Boom, it correctly locked into place 👍🏼Thanks for the quick response, brother. Your review played a huge role in my purchase. Much appreciated 🙏🏼 Now, let's get on this thing for the first time and take a ride 😎

The Engwe S6 rear suspension apparently doesn't work. Does the suspension at the rear work on this one. The deck looks a bit bigger in the s6
@DrewElia2 ай бұрын
This is an actual suspension, not shocks in the suspension but for my weight if I go off a curb or jump it, it bottoms out, so there is to consider as well! But for normal bumps and imperfect road conditions it works well

What does the red numbers represent? Next to the keyhole

That’s the voltage meter. It tells you the battery voltage and is more accurate than the battery bars on the display. Once you learn where the battery voltage corresponds to the range you’ll be able to have a better understanding of your mileage.

@DrewElia3 ай бұрын
Charging any PEV with out supervision is just a general no no for me, things happen and you want to be able to be alert to take care of any situation. Never leave a PEV charging unattended is what the companies recommend as well! its a great scooter for the price and for the battery size as well its a large capacity.

@@DrewElia Thanks 👍🏻 What is the range of this scooter? Is it IP certified? Is that "ding" you hear a manufacturing defect? Are the tires good or do they have problems with flat tires? Are spare parts available from Engwe?
@DrewElia2 ай бұрын
Engwe in vernal is a great company. I have now a few of their e-bikes and this scooter. I haven’t had any issues with it and the range for me was mid 20s miles but in 100kg 220lbs and ride faster. So if you’re lighter you may get more range! The ding you hear is the Shocks just bottoming out and hitting the housing, it’s just again my weight and jumping off of curbs doesn’t like it 😂 but for riding over bumps or cracks it does a great job

first off thanks for checking out the channel. make sure to subscribe for more content coming out! I mean, pending terrain, hills, weight of the rider, weather as far as temp there are a lot of factors when it comes to range. but I would say yes, and worse case you bring your charger with you the first few trips and plug in when you get to work or when you get home. you'll be able to see how much battery you use. if your'e gunning it at top speed the whole time you won't get the full range.
