Is the famous cave restaurant in Italy ACTUALLY worth it? 🤔

Please go visit Friuli, it's the underrated underdog of Italy. It mixes Slovenian, Austrian and Italian culture/cousine. It's a culture melting pot in the exact centre of Europe. It also has its actual language (not dialect), Friulano. Friulian dishes, culture and overall approach to life are VERY different from Italian ones. The nature is splendid and in some places almost unspoiled because there are much less tourists than in other regions. Some recommendations: -trieste + miramare castle -all mountain lakes, especially the lake with gryphons natural reserve (don't remember the name) -venzone -cividale and castelmonte -collio region (wine hills region) -hiking anywhere

The downside to Friuli is that is so incredibly remote. Like I live in Milan and a friend of mine had to go to Trieste for a wedding. It took forever and she had to change trains. And she took the high speed train too and it still took hours and hours.
