This first special is a success. And also Izzy is who I would consider the second best character just barely behind Hitch.

It makes sense, since it was based on the perception of Izzy about Misty (rather than the omniscient writer staff). -> Otherwise, she would have gotten something like a house of mirrors (she is a witch/wizard now, because of her Spellbook).

This was such a great special, Izzy will always be my absolute favorite pony of G5, while I'm still a bit butt hurt about MYM not continuing thanks to Netflix, and that TYT is gonna be taking over as the main series of G5 which is very disappointing since I'm use to TYT as just a mini-series rather than having it as the main focus after MYM was cancelled after the Secrets of Starlight special.

I love this special so much and the music 🎶 🎵 and izzy is also one of my favorite characters in g5 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 and that she was the main character along with the rest of the mane 6 and seeing familiar faces like the dragons , starlight ridge and i knew that we were going to see the seaponies again and i love destiny ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💜 😀 and seeing more of allura and twich ❤❤❤plus it also introduced us to the next big thing for the main cast the boardtrot i love it so much!!!!!And cutie mark magic made the nova charm break into six pieces with all of the colors of the mane 6 🧡💛💜🤍🩷💙 and i was also a person who always thought how would a 22 minute tell your tale episode work too ❤️ 💙 ♥️and I also knew that destiny's voice sound familiar and i knew that she was voiced by the same voice actress who voiced oplaine and one of the pippsqeaks as her name is glory and same thing with stardance and allura ❤❤❤😂😂and i also hope that they make a density toy and a boardtrot playset as well ❤️ 💙 😀 ♥️ 9:11 i don't think so 🤔 ❤️ and plus misty favorite food is pop corn so that's why they gave her a pop corn stand ❤️ 💙 💙💙

This special disappointed me. While I didn't hate it didn't feel like a special. It seemed this episode was so busy having fun, that it forgot to have any narrative direction. I would've much rather had this be about her life before the movie, her relationship with Violette, or addressing her unapologetic mischief (especially the running gags of abusing Posey and using Pipp's belongings)

Modern Hasbro is so weird about doing toys for the CURRENT THING for their franchises no matter the demographic. Transformers fans still on their hands and knees for better Earthspark toys for some of the cast members instead of more Generations/Legacy. No disrespect to those collectors toys though, I like em, it's very frustrating that the thing that's SUPPOSE to grab a new audience doesn't get as much focus. Again maybe I'm off base, I legitimately get most of my MLP knowledge from this channel and my IRL high school best friend but that's my take on the toys stuff.

I wouldn't say G5 of MLP is the most abandoned current Hasbro property when it comes to the toyline, but it does feel underwhelming to see some really obvious and good ideas for toys get completely ignored

There is no money on making toys (currently). (still) -> HASBRO is not going to let lose their TRADEMARKS™ like how it happened before with their G1 ponies (they reused names & color schemes from G3 ponies like Pinkie Pie & Rainbow Dash because they had NO OTHER CHOICE). I am certain that they are making "Super Prototype" version of "all of this ponies" & their "castles" [the problem is that their production is SUPER LIMITED precisely to cater to the niche market of Super_Collectors®]. -> Every month, a few NEW MILLIONARES "spawn" on India & China. Just because.
