when i was a kid barbie came out with a cat that “peed” in a litter box and a dog with “poop” that you could scoop. it was funny and a little gross but it was wholesome and made sense. i loved “realistic” things as a kid so i was happy to have barbie clean the litter box. these dolls? theres just no good reason they need to exist. they don’t make any sense and they’d sell just fine without the “poop” feature. at the very least they’re out of touch with what kids like, at the very most well… i don’t want to think about the type of older man who wants to make creepy poop dolls for kids

ONE THING ABOUT OLDER LOL DOLLS: they used to come with a sticker sheet that you could put a sticker next to on the collectors guide. The options were, and i kid you not: Will your doll?: P€€ Throw up Cry Or shoot water out of their ears? That just shows that these inclusion of f€t!ishes is on purpose. Thankfully they dont do this anymore though, and thats why their mouths are always in the shape of an O, for their baby bottles that you could fill with water and feed them.

As a child, I think I was around seven or eight when I got one of these. The one I got was one that cried. I was bit weirded out by this, but nonetheless, I looked at the info sheet about the other dolls. And when I saw the types that "peed", I was completely weirded out, even as a young child. So that kind of extends the proof of this companies' fetish.

MGA ended the whole Poopsie toy line after being sued by the Black Eyed Peas over plagiarizing the song "my humps", and this happened years ago. Penguinz0 did criticize the line in time, when the court thing was pretty recent, but now... Yall are just milking a weird, but DEAD, thing. Poopsies generated two spinoffs. One is Sparkly Critters (still pretty much poop and slime themed but with more diverse creatures like animals, sun and stars). They were collectibles like LOLs and idk if they exist anymore. The other spinoff is Rainbow High, MGAs current most successful line. Yeah, despite being radically different, Rainbow High is a Poopsie spinoff.
