This is definitely in your top ten of unique cars to review Joe. To me it looks like a 4-door version of the BMW I8 Hybrid. But at 6k lbs, she is a Heavy Baby. The BMW I8 is only 3,400lbs, but that's through the use of a LOT of composite materials, which equates to a lot of $$$. This Fisker Karma is definitely an Autobahn cruiser though. I have to ask, can this be purchased with any type of extended warranty and if so, can anyone work on this car should problems arise? Save the Wave.🙋‍♂️

Love this car and love the seats too. I wouldn't zonk it but it's a matter of personal preference. Only thing I would've zonked on it is that the center console goes all the way back, preventing an extra passenger in the middle. I wanted to hear what it sounded like on start up and the revs though. I haven't seen you do that your latest videos anymore.

They don’t have anything coming. Fisker isn’t a thing. The new Karma is a Chinese company that bought all of Fiskers assets when they went under. Good luck trying to see if Karma will repair these things when they blow up.

It is a really cool looking car. I remember seeing it in car magazines when I was 13 dreaming of one day having one of those. It was unfortunate with some of the issues it had then. But now it has revived as the Karma Revero. Pretty cool. Love the review. 👍 Btw do you think the grill looks like a French mustache?

It is a generator. The gas motor only charges the hv battery and puts electricity to the rear wheel motors.

I would say the engine itself would be quite reliable if you take care of it. But whenever the hybrid system acts up, not a whole lot of people know how to fix them, let alone finding parts will be damn near impossible, because the company that supplied batteries to Fisker went out of business, and that was one of the reasons Fisker didn’t last long.

Well, since it is a series hybrid, it has a 20.1 kWh battery. The early models were plagued with problem such as the batteries catching fire, the infotainment system crashing, I heard about the steering wheel coming off.. etc. If you get the batteries replaced by karma automotive they should be fine. But that’s if you’re the original owner of the car because they only offer it to the original owners. The Eco-Sport models also can have engine failure. As shown in the video, the check engine light is on indicating something is wrong. Tbh you’re better off getting the karma Revero or even the Revero GT if you want the modernity and launch control.
