This was such a crazy match, tightened butts when todoroki left you with 1 hp and a dream for another day xD. I think if froppy's aerial tongue lick was sideways instead of vertical it would actually be more useful, even if can't be combo-ed, she has a hard time finishing anyone, and dies very seasily if she gets caught.

I feel like the Shoto defenitly fucked that up and couldve won if he hit atleast one more iceslide at the very end or on one of the rooftops, but damn that was well played by you. I personally dont get anything done with Froppy so its always crazy to see others doing so well with her. Even tho she got nerfed quite a bit, I think she is still a totally fine and pretty well balanced character now, and Gameplay like this proofs that point for me

We already basically talked about this yesterday but it was still nice to see you feel some of the pain I feel every single match hahaha I don't play froppy too much but as ochako the other 500 total hp character. Half the cast I feel like I literally have to play perfect or I die in one slight mistake, and all they have to do is spam and hope any 1 move hits me. I feel like it's one of the things that really makes me consider ochako a lower tier personally because her consistency is so bad. The worst consistency in the game in my opinion, her high games are very high, +2,000-3000 points when you stay alive and get an early car, but she has the most inconsistencies and downsides that make that hard to do often. I think she's the single worst in the entire game at the start when she has the useless little mailbox and 500 hp, it's only once she gets the car she becomes pretty strong. So you're a slow starter and probably already not getting many points in the early phases till you have car, Then you still have to play perfectly and whittle people down since one mistake is instant death with a lot of the cast, and then it's the WORST because if you do make that one mistake and die it's game over, you can't even really get revived like every single other character can, now there's no loot left mid or late game and you're level 1 ochako until you get 4 full kills worth of cards to become an actual character again. Which realistically is never going to happen and you're there to just be a distraction, support a little, and hope your team pulls the 2v3 off. I think this is why the only other people I've seen who have big success with her run full 3 person teams of all top players and include an instant res. If you can keep her alive all game she's a powerhouse, and if she does die once the other players need to be cracked enough to win 2v3 lobbies consistently. I usually just grind with whatever 2 randoms it gives me and when I die once and get res'd it's like oh man I really hope my rookie 1 deku with zero wins can hard carry us here. It's very tilting, Season 1 I got to Ace with only her Kendo and Compress mostly since they were the characters I really didn't see anyone playing at all back then (she even had the lowest win rate of every character at the time) and I really liked those 3 and thought they had a lot of cool tech and hidden potential. Then this season I got top 100 with her a while ago, but now that I hit it idk the grind might be done I've been really searching for an easier very consistent character that I still find as fun as her playstyle is when she's doing well.

Yeah ochacos definitely a weak starter imo especially solo queue because you have to get the cards yourself. I know some players who always play in a group, have their teammates give them rainbows so they can hit lvl 9 within the first couple minutes of the match starting which definitely helps her early game but again that’s only possible with an actual team. Hope you can find a character you enjoy as much as the playstyle she provided

I like a lot of characters but none have really felt like a main to me since her. I think my other current favorite is Kaminari. I hope twice is really fun when he comes out. I love him and the clone thing I can either see being absolutely crazy and broken or completely useless and he's F tier haha

I was executing the froppy and the game let her revive midway through letting her also get the shigaraki back up so it was just unluckiness due to the game 😭 And yeah after playing her she feels fine just not the high damage monster she was earlier in the games lifespan

I've said this before froppys damage and alpha bullets weren't the problem, it was the fact that she could jump so high whenever and consistently stay in the air while dealing damage from long distances and as such players never see her coming and have a hard time figuring out where she's attacking from If we take ochako for example a character with a similar kit, you don't see her causing the kind of problems froppy does with her alpa because 1. She doesn't jump super high (and have a big hitbox) 2. Her grapple wire doesn't travel crazy long distances Froppy never had to roll at all back then because she was hardly on the ground and whenever she's on the ground it's only to set up her next air time

Nah I definitely lose too! I usually play a bunch and just pick the two most entertaining matches. In this case I played two ranked trio matches lost the first and won the second and just found the second match overall more entertaining so I picked that one. That being said it’s something I definitely think about because I don’t want the outcome of my matches to be to predictable with me always winning

She is one of the harder characters to hit, her hp is fine. And about stuns, i dont think they are gonna add what you suggested but I believe stuns should feel more rewarding, and not something you can spam until you hit something. Kaminari was perfect before the buff, really strong combo but you have 1 shot at i, giving him 2 of thoose makes him much easier to play, especially in early game, and then there is todoroki... He has a stun that can hit multiple people, 2 charges of them that can be used as mobility, and the worse thing to me is the cooldown of that move.
