Wow never thought they would be that light 74-79kg I thought my Ktm was light at 97kg, whether we like it or not, electric is here to stay, be cool to see how the enduro version holds up to the standards we have at the moment with the petrol bikes..
@yesyescrew4 ай бұрын
Honestly, when I was sitting behind the 3 bikes while I was riding my sherco 300 4t and these lads were hitting the jumps and logs with minimal effort, I got to say I was jealous I'm not the best of riders, but the lightness of these electric bikes makes you feel so much more comfortable

It would be interesting to see which is the quickest around a lap. They have done a couple of tests of e mountain bikes vs pedal power and the e-bikes are quicker.
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
We will be testing this soon! 👍

Yep 💯 defo on there to do list. Do you currently ride electric or petrol

How much are they bro ? And how long does battery last?
@yesyescrew3 ай бұрын
The starter bike we rode is £5.500. And on your average play day easy get a full day rideing. The new Chester 71mph max speed and at 20mph looking at 140mile
@simoncooper56284 ай бұрын
Very nice bikes but whats the range on battery hours
@yesyescrew4 ай бұрын
The cheater modle ranges around 130 miles at an average 20mph. Large batries are available, and they are quick realise for enduro races. Simular time as re fule and a quick chocolate bar.
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
If used as intended for trials riding/hill climbing the 12kw 40ah model will do 6 hours around Cowm quarry comfortably.

Whats the max rider wight they can take im a 110kg would they pull me?
@elivincent60134 ай бұрын
Yes this bikes max weight limit is 150kg

How long does it take to charge from fully flat?
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
Depending on the model and battery size it can take anything from 4-8 hours.
@andyhunter53564 ай бұрын
can you get a road legal one? what is the top speed of the top of the range?
@yesyescrew3 ай бұрын
The new cheeta is in the UK now and been built up this is 71mph range 140 miles at average 20mph on lane riding

What would be your most worrying, though when buying one?
@Pablojford4 ай бұрын
Probably running out of power.
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
To be honest as long as youve chose the correct bike for your discipline theres not alot to worry about at all! Theres alot less moving parts and less chance of things going wrong with these than your typical petrol bikes which i have had for years previously. With petrol Youve engine rebuilds, jetting, bogging,air filter and oil changes, mixing fuel. These are so easy just basic chain and brake pad maintenance, just charge and ride so less hours maintaining= more riding!

I think Surron ultrabee with upgraded battery is way better. The artic leopard does have more power than stock ultrabee but it cost more so is more comparable to upgraded ultrabee
@yesyescrew4 ай бұрын
I think their guidance was with the Arctic Lepord that it more of an all round full enduro with the larger tyres rather than thiner wheels as per the seron etc
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
Totally different class mate, Arctic Leopard have just competed in the Dakar rally with multiple 1st place finishes. The EXT 700 which is most comparable to an upgraded ultra bee is £7699 it comes with 21/18 wheels, 20kw power , 72/60ah battery, 111 mile range, phone connectivity, regen braking, 700nm torque. An Ultrabee is £6600 stock and would need a new controller £1400 , battery £2500-£3000 and even then your still only on 19"/19" wheels so no tyre choice for enduro. That would be another £1000 so thats cost over £11000 on the ultrabee to match the Arctic, but at £9999 you can get a 37kw EXE 880! Its clear which is the better bike for the money. We can offer you a test ride maybe you will change your mind. 👍

After rideing along side the ones you brought the other day even them bikes would have a clear advantage over the petrol ones.

What do you want to see from an electric bike.
@aaronharrison11264 ай бұрын
I would like to see them try the bomb hole at cowm quarry that would be interesting to see
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
@@aaronharrison1126Its in our future plans to give it a try definetly. We have been to Cowm today with the bikes youve seen in the video, and they performed excellent!
@yesyescrew4 ай бұрын
💯 agree bro that would be good to see. From what I saw the other day I can't see why not.
@dexrose85784 ай бұрын
Ok for enduro - no good for most greenlaning due to lack of range. Im sure theyre great for short range fun. The future I cant see it.
@pedal_gromit4 ай бұрын
How far do you go when greenlaning?
@yesyescrew4 ай бұрын
I think he said the new cheter enduro range can cover 130+ miles at around 20 mph. On average, we cover 90-110 miles per green lane experience when tracked via Google maps. Your average beginner rider will use a tour guide which normally uses the same cafes. And local amenities for their dinner brakes. Normally small local shops. Visited 3-4 times a week. If that was half way through the day and you could continue with their revenue, you could utilise that as a power station batrrie swop point and instead of using commission per sale use there electric and storage space to re charge battries and store them until your next visit. There would be some lagustic and communications required, but I recon it would work.
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
The standard 58ah battery will do 118 miles at 21mph which will be about the average speed on a green lane. With the upgraded 75ah battery you will get 140-150 miles. You are welcome to come and have a try on one. 👍
@robbieadamson43984 ай бұрын
I recon they will be good for every green lane day. Need the Cheaters here to get them road registered
@bertieballs4 ай бұрын
If they made them look more like a proper enduro bike rather than a a souped up mountain bike they would have a lot more appeal, these look like a cross between an 80's trial bike and a modern mountain bike, they seem like a kids toy imo.
@robbieadamson43984 ай бұрын
These are the bottom entry enduro bikes their are 2 newer larger modles on their way to the UK once here we will be checking them out
@Damolil904 ай бұрын
Its all about how much fun you have on them, we went to Cowm yesterday and spoke to a proper petrol head who was anti-electric, he had a go climbed a big hill on it and came back with biggest smile on his face! He did the same hill on his and was disgusted at his own bike. Why not come and test one you will be shocked!
