If i remember correctly until plo 100 the rake is fine. Starting at plo200 the rake is a lot highr compared to other sites. The higher you move up in stakes the more expensive GG becomes in comparison

But if the rake cap in high stakes is 1bb and middle stakes is 1.5/2, you are paying less rake when you are playing hjgh stakes right ? In percentage. So it wouldn’t be cheaper to play high stakes then low stakes ?

rakeback system is rigged for everything. Rake they are not charging insane amounts in tourneys to my knowledge.

You seem a knowlegable guy on the murky subject. I've been trying to grind to get to black whlale status. I only play PLO50 . Am I right in thinking if I take the so called 50% flat ''black whale'' ranking cash back or rake back offer once that option to that I may get 25% or even less? Please let me know what you know. Hi there is something called the PVI= Player value index. Based on that you will accumulate points faster or slower. If you are a great palyer your rakeback could be cut so only fractions the promissed amount. To my knowledge all good players get only 50% or less of the promissed actual rakeback

@@praiospoker9498 Aceepting players from China when it became illegal to play online there ove ra eyar ago. I hope they don't become the next Full Tilt. Their customer service reminds me of Full Tilt's as does the avatars. Sick TOS, false advertising of rake back. It's a good job I'm winning enough and they games are soft. I was aware of PVI but needed it hear it again to sink in so you certainly added value and gave me more realistic expectations. Sometimes I need it in black and white a few times that yes they lie in their adverts for it to really sink in. It's just so unethical. I really enjoy the site and wish they would get there ethics in order. Please no Full Tilt or UB issues going forward and why ethical companies like PP can't get their software and marekting together I don't know because I would be there in a flash if enough fish were also and the exprience was a bit more fun with software. FS. Appreciate the reponse. I still wish RIO would change their software and find a way to attract fish because Mr Galfond is one person I do trust . Poker 2021. Actually better than when just Stars was an option but still there for someone to get their act togther.

At the moment i play only on pokerstars. Unfortunately almost no big games run there anymore, but i have most faith in their security department. In reality all poker sites sucks. Stars is the one that sucks a bit less hard that all the others. Playing small and midstakes you probably cant go that wrong with any site. If you play bigger limits there is no good site currently.

​@@praiospoker9498 agree the rng of pokerstars is trustworthy. GG Poker cheats, I can prove it from my hand history. You wouldn't believe the way they robbed me, just unbelievable! Every second hand as a favorite and with the clearly better hand on average lost by a bad beat on the river. Something like that is mathematically impossible in the long run, but with GG everything is possible

@@Levo_D_Angelo As Human you often under estimate the variance. I think the RNG of neither of the 2 sites is rigged, but you are right in another way. GG has some very shady stuff in their terms and conditions which might lead to you loosing your BR. You could be penatalized for bumhunting for example. NL has lower rake on the higher stakes so the situation there is a bit better. But rake cost are still of the charts compared to other sites. Didnt do the math for going for leaderboards, but if you are a big grinder this could make sense, although I generally think that mass grinding is not a good approche to poker, as you want to have the biggest winrate possible and you will make a lot more money longterm if you focus on wintrate and not in rakeback and races.

Runitonce might be a good option for you good leaderboards good payouts and not that many participants. I came 4th in the last one. No rush though just standard cash

@@vicious7462 I never tried run it once. But my guess would be that games are a lot less fishy as on other sites. I dont want to make money by grinding I want to make money by having a solid winrate and this is best possible when playing in fishy games.

I think I'm PVI 2 MAX lol... easily badbeat and suckout by others Premium hands lost 80% of the times to trash hands. VIP Fish buffet cashback spin got the lowest/2nd lowest payout 95% of the times

I thought I commented or at least read. Not surprising I think this happend to many people. Some alsp got banned already. Be happy if they didnt take your BR (yet). If i reveive threads like this i would quit the site especially if they also threat you with confiscation of funds

it is the most rigged plattform i ve ever played and i am playing since 1998 ! The Fish Buffet Bonus is the biggest joke. I spun the wheel of fortune at least 50 times and never got the highest prize once. According to GG, however, the probability of getting the highest profit is 50%. This fact alone shows that you are cheating.

Just today i noticed i don't get 35% from my octopus, and neither do i get 35% from the gold challenge, i totally get like 30% from both. So thankful that i found this, been wondering whats going on, what are these numbers. Are they different for every player? Like the cash prizes u get after the challenge? It says im getting UP to % rakeback, but in best case, i can only get half, never those 35%. Same thing with the octopus, apparently. I subbed for the channel, very helpful, been writing on forums, and nobody knew.

The PVI is taking into account before it enters the wheel format and black rank system. If you watch your points you will see you are not getting the correct amount of rake in terms of FP entering your account. Figure out what the % of rake that the format you are playing is meant to take, these are all published on their website, and then track the points rewarded as FPs and you will be able to see your PVI value (for that session) based on the difference between the two figures. The issue is GGpoker change your PVI based on performance, game type, player behaviour at tables and deposit history and the scope is between 0.1 and 2 as far as we know. From following forums and personal experience on the site it is a shady and scummy system which basically removes any stable rakeback for winning regs.

I do my best. I think my english improved a lot over the years but its still far away from being perfect. GG is perfectly fine if you play 1/2 or 0.5/1. If you move up to 2/5 or even higher the rake gets so much more expensive in comparison to other sites, that i would recommend to not use GG on this limits. On top of that the rakeback system is screwed, the software is buggy and people get banned and money confiscated unrightfully. Thats why i stay away but everyone has to judge for themself its worth all that risk for the rewards/games they offer.

@@praiospoker9498 my opinion -experience so far = 3 months = not much of a time period , is that 1-2 is the most risky limit cause its low enough for collusion cause as the limits get higher gg is looking - veryifin acounts for cheating .. i know that for a fact from fellow players which playin 5-10 & above & I think gg is by far 1st in traffic in 5-10 & 10-20 .. about rake back is better than nothin like stars & the software so far it perfect .. i find opportunity to leave stars cause the new aurora software was painfull for my eyes and also sometimes was crushin-froze so about gg i suppose in a few months i ll have more accurate perspective .. but again if my alternative is stars !!??
