My Reno is looking good. There are a couple of small areas that started looking lighter green; what does that mean? Too little water, too much water, something else? Thanks

Could be anything from baby grass that hasn’t matured yet to possibly poa annua. Download the PlantNet app, then take a picture. It’ll tell you.

Middle tennesseean here! Just rennovated my back yard with GCI tttf. Very shaded area with trees. And lots of bare areas. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@@aaroncordle8512 Hey Aaron in Middle TN!! How long has it been since you’ve renovated? GCI TTTF has two cultivars in the blend that can handle shady areas. Shady areas will naturally take longer to grow. Check those areas again during the peak spring season.

@OneHaleofaLawn i seeded after the hurricane rains. Been about 17 days. Planning on pregerminating for the spring to hit all the bare areas if they don't fill out. Stated with back yard before I do the front so I know what to do....lol

@@aaroncordle8512 That was a good plan, hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised in the spring. Mow more often during this time to encourage more lateral spread. I’m now cutting at 2 - 2 1/2 inches.

Renovation is coming on strong. Next week we will be getting the rotary mower back out for the first time on the new grass. Also, let me know if you have been waiting for NTEP to add this new feature.
