Is the GTA Trilogy Definitive 2024 Patch any good? (GTA San Andreas Gameplay)

It's a bit better. The lighting updates are a small improvement, but the weather types, characters and LODs are still no good.
I'll stick to the classics.

And I also noticed the aircraft or helicopter are missing black smoke when it gives you warning it's going to blow up

I noticed when you honk the poilces cars keep changing the sirens if you go in car get poilces on you honk and you find out

Few things I’ve noticed is that when you change your exhaust on your car it still keeps the nitros flames where the exhaust used to be, you cannot clearly see if your car is smoking so you have to pray you won’t blow up and they should really make it so you can run\jog while aiming like in gta 4 makes combat so much easier

you just can't beat the og ps2 or PC version with skygfx, silentpatch, ps2feels along with the huge list of lore friendly mods that can enchance the experience.

You still can’t run at full speed and cj is still forced to close the door every time he exits a vehicle. Those two things have always bothered me and still haven’t been fixed

Or you cant dive underwater when you jump from high place this is problems from the mobile and ps3 ports and the definitive edition is made with that port so the new team will need a lot of time to be able to fix those problems

@ the forced door closing one is entirely new though which is a shame. I know that cause the shitty Xbox 360 version is unfortunately the one I grew up with and first experienced the game 🤦‍♂️

Been playing through gta SA and it’s much better there are still a lot of issues tho the biggest being you can’t see if your cars smoking anymore so you just have to predict if it’s going to blow up and the terrible long distance models
