I own a 2020 street bob, bought it brand new with 6 miles. Now with 24,400 miles. As long as you take care of the machine it will take care of you. No major issues yet, only upgrades.

I’m thinking of getting the standard. You have a review by chance? Upgrades?
@TheMotoJawn24 күн бұрын
@massageworksnyc it's basically identical to my street bob just a 107 engine instead. All my videos reviews and upgrades would be applicable to the standard as well

My comment is that the 114 is a plenty. It performs well. You put a stage 2 on that bike and it turns that bike from an animal to a monster! Its scary! My 22 has been fun and flawless. I guess the only thing that might be a negative is the small capacity fuel tank. I put cruise control on mine. Thats nice also.

Yo I was hoping youd put out a 10k video on your street bob and i hope you continue to update us with every milestone! Have a 23 Street bob that i picked up about 4-5 months brand new it now has 3.5k miles on it and I love the bike and I have no plans on ever getting rid of it. As much I love the bike I swapped my fuel cap with the flush mount one based off one of your videos also cus i couldn't stand the rattling it was making lol
@TheMotoJawnАй бұрын
@oz76 nice! Just take care of it should be reliable for you for many miles 👍

I’ve had my 23 FXST since new and so far no issues to speak of. It runs great. Just basic maintenance following the schedule and actually riding it every chance I get. I do a mix of around town and longer highway rides and it does its job. New grips might cure the vibration issue. ODI Vans grips are perfect for me and I don’t notice any uncomfortable vibrations on my stock bars with solid bushings.
@TheMotoJawnАй бұрын
I've heard the bushings work. I'll be changing the bars out anyways so that should work
@thelaxer1031Ай бұрын
I can’t say the bushings made a difference in vibration. Feels about the same but there’s zero slop now. So the steering and handling feels slightly “tighter”.

I was looking for a 2023 Street Bob but I found a 2017 Dyna Street Bob with 1.5k miles I'm glad I went with the Dyna I still want a new one but I can wait now

I bought my Street Bob new in January ... I put 10,000 miles on it this year ... The only issue I have is the taillights stopped glowing ... The brake lights work and the blinkers work on the back, but at night, there is no glow when driving (only the license plate light) ... It's under warranty, so I just need to take it in, but that is an issue I've had ... A must have on the bike is adding cruise control (which helps eliminate the numbing of hands, because you can take your hand off of the handlebar to give it a break from the vibration)

My experience is my '23 FXLRS. Only 6K miles. I can say that building things out costs more $$$ than you'd think. Cam kit, pipe, and tuner = $3K just for parts. It's gratifying to do the work myself but it does add up. It's pretty much winter so now I can install all the other parts I have sitting on my living room floor. I've had no particular problems with the bike itself....not so much different than the SB.

48k on my 2018 and 14k on my 2022. Basic maintenance and no major component replacements. On the 2018 I have replaced the primary and cam chain tensioners twice, which cost me like 100 bucks for both each time due to wear. I replaced the clutch pack at 40k. The 2018 also has an aftermarket cam, cam plate, oil pump, exhaust, intake, injectors and a 124" big bore that I put on at 3k plus a few other visual and comfort mods. Bike has been bulletproof since and it's the one in my profile pic. I use it as my every day driver/rider. My 2022 is pretty much still stock and no issues there either. Doesn't get ridden as much though. I knocked on wood after typing this out though, lol.

2019 Heritage Softail, 114. Not one issue other than a shock bolt recall. Took the dealer 15 minutes to address. MPG has ranged from a low of 45 mpg to a high of 52 mpg, mixed riding. Bike is bone stock and has been pleasantly reliable. Do all of my own service except for tire changes and brake flushes because I have ABS.

22 fxlrs, decked as dyna tsport w/ clamshells. 8.7k, new to me at 5k. Ness AC, Cobra & HD turner. Considering Trask trans top cover/Lic/tune, but I’m not dropping a ton more for a cam….the 117 screams

2023 street bob here, it runs great and only really have had issues with the fork seals leaking and my break light switch breaking. Nothing the warranty didn’t cover. Ive serviced my bike at SD Harley every time and I recently past 15k miles.

I've heard the fork seals is common

i have a 23 softail Standard basicly the same as the street bob just has the 107 and the vibration in the bars sucks around town not a big deal but on the highway its killer

Try a swap to some different grips. I use the ODI Vans grips on my 23 FXST and have no vibration issues with stock bars. Even before I installed Thrashin Solid riser bushings I had no vibration issues and most of my 12k miles are highway.

@@thelaxer1031 i switched grips twice a set of Avon memory foam grips and i thought my hands where gonna fall off and i got Harley get a grip grips and there better then stock but its still there ill look into the odi
@thelaxer1031Ай бұрын
@@davidsprague1601the ODI grips are the only ones I’ll use now. But if the vibration is that bad, might be a good idea to check and make sure your risers are properly torqued.

@@thelaxer1031 they are my hands are bad because of years of abuse from work they go numb if i look at them funny but they dont go numb on my road glide so i just ride that on the highway and the other around town but im gonna try the grips its a cheap fix if it works i been looking into changing the bars all together so that will be next anyway

Had my lowrider st for about a 1 or so put 24000 kms on it I had the rear fender crack but that's about it an harley replaced it.
@TheMotoJawnАй бұрын
How did the fender crack?
@LilWixxyАй бұрын
@TheMotoJawn so apparently it was pretty common in the lowriders the tail light assembly had a cut out in the fender an if you ride on ruffer type roads the wieght of the tail light can split the fender under the tail light.

That particular bike is a good platform to throw several thousand dollars at for customizing.

Blown fuse is not minor. It blew because something went wrong in the electrical system. Take the bike to a shop and have them scan it. God forbid this happens again in the middle of nowhere.
