I have had a blue one just like that for 6 years now. It’s a very fun bike and makes a great commuter.

It burns ankles, because the pipes are routed up to the front first and then reverse to the rear. Any owner should want a tweak to better the situation. I have seen air inlets and removal of radiator shroud. An easy starter. It has a soft waterpump seal by design and the external alternator can be a concern, not outliving the bike. I can not see a problem with speed wobble and the frame was made little different in later years. The shock is adjustable in both height and its pre-tension, perhaps you did not find this little hole in the frame on the right. Try the three presets and see how the rear bounces differently. Nevertheless the weight of the ST1300 is enormous and therefor the model is no match to racing bikes or adventure models on the highway. Gearbox operating and clutch working will differentiate the model between supersport and commuting behavior. My bike has not learned the top speed in only seconds thing as of yet. Just tour, no sport/tour.

I've never had any ankle problems from My p3.however the shin and knee area gets pretty toasty sometimes if you're wearing thin pants.

I recently bought a 2002 with 130K KM for 4000 euros, this in Spain. Not a single issue so far.

Pertaining to time 7:25 in the video, how does the ST1300 handle better than the ST1100 if the ST1300 has a wobble and the ST1100 does not?
