They fixed it on the 13 pro max, which it hasn't been resolved yet as they showed in the keynote that they never mentioned the cooling system would work well on these phones to actually make it not as hot as it was when you were outside! In my opinion, I think the thermal management on apple does a job better, but seriously, I wouldn't say you should upgrade to a 13 pro max, just for a camera and etc, but if you had the x, or 11 pro max, I'd say upgrade to a 13 pro max if these upgrades for the camera are more important to you!

I am a regular android user, I know each and every corner of my OS, In my point of view this iPhone X would be a great choice if anybody wants to experience the latest gen Apple phones and their OS. I got a new iPhone X last year and the principal negative aspect is the battery 😐, but I think camera and screen are excellent and better than iPhone 11 ones, mainly the screen (opinion). Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴

You are correct about that Santiago, the screen on an iPhone X is an OLED screen vs a traditional LCD on the iphone 11. But the iPhone 11 is bigger and has a slightly larger battery, but if the shorter battery life isn't an issue, the iPhone x is still a great phone!

Only you can decide on the size of the phone. However, a new battery is not too expensive from apple. Around $60. But if face ID is not working don't buy it, that can be an expensive repair.

Thank you. I still use this phone and I bought it when it was brand new at $999+ tax. I might upgrade when the iPhone 14 comes out. I know more recent models have a minimum of 128 GB right now but at 64GB I have no problem so maybe this is a consideration in choosing data storage options because I don’t think I need the extra GB which cost hundreds of dollars more for each level.

Actually, the extra GB is still worth it because let's be real, 64GB Is not even enough, so 256 and 512gb are both more than enough in recent models, which was a great way, but to be honest with you, I think you should upgrade to an iPhone 13 pro max Eventually in 2022

Funny you mention the 64 gb not being an issue bc it never was for me either. Now that I'm going on year 2 of having a pro max phone, I coudn't imagine going back to having only 64 gb as somehow I just fill up more space with this one now😂 But if you are good with 64 like I was when you get the 14 128 should be fine 👌

I never watched these type of videos before but glad I started to do so that I know what to consider when buying a phone as there are so many factors such as battery quality, etc. I stopped constantly changing my phone when I graduated college and used the iPhone 5s for about 4 years before upgrading to the X. I can’t believe another 4 years passed by and I am starting to see decline in battery life for the X. Hopefully my phone will last until the iphone 14 comes out!

@@OnlyiPhones no, I'm fine with the 256GB model cause it's more than enough👌! It's also why 64gb was a problem for more stuff that you kept on your iphone, so maybe 256GB and 512Gb will both be just as enough to keep the stuff without running out of space! Even with the Apps and games that you downloaded from the app store, it will still be enough, other than the 64GB😂! However, it's a good thing that Apple has doubled the storage space to 128Gb on the non 13 pro series, which is a smart move, but if folks who thinks the 128GB isn't really enough, there are some factors of each storage space to go with, whether it's an iphone 13, or 13 pro max! The 4k prores is only vailable in high storage configurations for,256 512 and 1tb, so if you go with 256, then you're good to go to play with 4k prores, even though it takes a bit more storage after a minute!

I'm going by memory here, since its not my main phone anymore and I don't have accurate screen time reports since I just use it occasionally. But I would say at full charge, probably about 8 hours of screen time before totally dead, not including heavy use apps like taking video or FaceTime etc. Just regular use.

@@latifadaoudi1020 I think its still good enough. I used mine for about 3 years before I got the 12 pro max, and most days I was able to make it through without a charge in the middle. Although, if you shoot a lot of video or a lot FaceTime, the battery will die much quicker

Pops gave me his X that he only used for a couple of months and the battery's still at 100%. This is my first iPhone because I was an android user before. My only problems with this phone is the battery and how it heats up pretty quickly

Nice! If the battery is at 100% after all this time, then most likely it was replaced at some point recently. I never noticed mine getting very hot, unless I was filming with with for 10 mins or longer, then it would heat up. But other intense apps could cause this as well

Do you still think that the iphone 11 pro max is really worth it over the iphone x! I mean, yeah, they have ultrawide lens on the back, but to be honest, I think the iphone 11 pro max and 12 pro max are really both excellent in my opinion! However, as we're currently closer to the iPhone 13 launch, I believe that the iphone 13 pro and pro max models will deliver a promotion displays that enables LTPO backplane!

At this point is much better to just wait and see what the 13 brings, but if you are not the type of person to buy the newest models and wants a bargain on an older one, then either one will be great phones, and the 12 will be able to be had at a discount once the 13 comes out

Its not a big difference, but if you are considering both, then I would always choose the newer device and go with the 11. But you do get some different lenses. The 11 has the standard wide and ultra wide whereas the X has the standard wide and 2x zoom.

Lol, the 13 pro max produces great photos in quality, which could result in great details when you were close to a subject! If you have the iphone x, then I would advise you to upgrade to an iphone 13 pro max because it has macro mode that automatically switches!

Hi, I just got mine like 4days ago factory refurbished for about $350 and everything seems fine except I noticed that the battery when it gets to 20% low, it goes off and I’ll have to plug it in before it comes back up but then it shows like 10 - 15% battery life. Now my question is, is this normal or it’s an issue than can be fixed?

@@ritannaji4009 Thats not normal, and you want to look at the battery section in the settings to see what the batter health is. Sounds like it needs a new battery, and if you bought it from apple refurbished, they will replace it free of charge

It probably depends on what you’re using it for. Are you shooting 4K video all day and gaming? If you are that will kill any iPhone battery fast. That even kills my iPhone 12 Pro Max battery quick

@@OnlyiPhones unfortunately not. I don’t shoot a lot of photos or use it for gaming. I use it for messaging, instagram and youtube. KZbin is the most draining app, 10 minutes of video playback can deplete up to 5% of the battery and that to me is insane. I don’t know if it’s normal for youtube to use all that battery, anyway i think I will change it soon. Please if other have an iphone x tell me how is youtube on your phone

Instagram gaming and KZbin will definitely drain the battery faster than a lot of other apps. They are GPU intense apps. But if you feel like you need a new battery don’t hesitate to change it since it’s not too expensive to get a new one

It depends on what things are important to you as what Mike says about it in his comment section! If you have the x or 11 pro, then yes, the 13 pro max is actually worth it over its previous models! Don't get me wrong, I like the 13 pro max, it had some really premium features that the 12 pro max doesn't have, such as 120hz ProMotion display, Macro Mode, Night Mode for all 3 lenses, Photographic styles, prores and cinematic mode!

the iPhone 13 mini will be a downgrade in display size. If you get the standard 13 its roughly the same size form factor as the X. Only the pro max models are significantly larger than the 13 and 13 pro, but the mini is pretty small

I must say this is a poor video. Not mentioning the fact that the iPhone X has an OLED display vs the SE which has an LED display. Even the iPhone 11 is LED. Screen quality on the X brilliant.
