Actually, we do have the law of attraction in Islam, but it's quite different from the one portrayed by the so-called successful people. There's a hadith that goes by: “I will be as my servant expects me to be, so let him expect in me what he wishes.” In my opinion, the difference is that in Islam, this law of attraction is always tied to Allah. So what you feed your brain shapes your thoughts, which therefore lay out your actions in life. I used to believe in this law of attraction but it never worked until I made it as the basis of connection between me and Allah and things became lucid and easy going :)

As a Muslim, who has contemplated the LOA for some years now, I don't actually have a simple black and white stance on it. I mean, I don't think it's haram to believe it. And I don't think it is shirk (although giving God-like attributes to the universe or yourself is definitely shirk). And disbelieving in God and God's lordship over His creation, which many LOA teachers do, is shirk and is kufr. Definitely. With that being said...I personally believe the LOA is mentioned in the Quran: Verily, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." - Quran 13:11 As far as no Muslim has ever used it goes.... Well the LOA is real. Everyone is bounded by it (including Muslims). For example, if you got into an argument and your mood is thrown off... And later that day you keep running into back-to-back mishaps and misfortunes - that's LOA. It is real. Law of Attraction is a natural phenomenon, but the problem is all these shirky assumptions and beliefs that these kufar have associated with it.

why Allah taught us to raise hands and make dua to him if this is fine to practice LOA? why prophets didn't did this even in the times of extreme hardship? the ayah you mentioned is about having good hopes and tawakkal on Allah (i guess)

He is wrong loa is haram we should achive things in natural simple islamic way by tieing the camel (doing our side of work) and then making dua that camel would be safe (leaving everything to Allah) ​@@MairaIqbal-fx2sz
