2006 UL owner here. Best investment I’ve ever made in terms of a vehicle. Luxurious. Reliable. Underrated power. Out of this world comfort. Old school. To die for. I thought of “upgrading” with a 460. Thank god I didn’t. The profitability for the auto makers on newer cars is tremendous. The LS 430 had very little margin. They do not make cars like that for under six figures any longer. Bag then engineers were in charge of making the cars. Now, it’s the accountants first, then the engineers fulfill that equation as best they can.

I own a 2004 base, I searched the base model out because I didn't want a 20 year old Nav screen and outdated keyless entry, etc. Best car I've ever owned, I will literally never dump it unless the engine seizes.
