The Lingoda Super Sprint isn't free anymore! When I did the Super Sprint almost 4 years ago It was 90 classes over 90 days with a full refund. When I did it 10 months ago it was 60 classes over 60 days with a full refund but as of a few months ago I just discovered that you now can only receive a maximum of a 50% refund for 60 classes, so is it still worth it? Are there other sources for language learning that can stand toe to toe with them now that free is no longer an option? That's what I delve into in this video which happens to be my final video of the year

Welcome to What's Good English! On this channel we explore the slang, common phrases, idioms, and AAVE. My goal is to help English learners learn the meanings behind some of our harder to understand vocabular and phrases that are in our common speech in context. I try demonstrate as much as I can acted out in humorous (ok well sometimes humorous) sketches so they can be learned with real context because that helps us remember far better than a simple explanation. I'm a language learner myself and occasionally I upload a bonus episode about language learning tips and things I learned through my trials and errors trying to learn languages. If you like what you've read, please subscribe and share my videos around. My goal really is to help as many people as I can understand these fun curiosities of the English Language.
Thank you so very much for watching!

Look at the full list of rules, sprints are now apparently only open to new customers. You wouldn’t be able to take two separate sprints anymore.

Oh wow I must have missed that. It's getting increasingly hard to recommend doing it as time goes on. It's not that I don't see value in that courses. I do, however, other great methods exist for the same amount of money

Not at all. The first time I did all of the classes on my iPad. There were people that were taking the classes on their cell phones as well. All you need is a device that works with Zoom

I test at a B2 level for French but rarely speak (I'm SO anxious). I'm tempted to join the A1 or A2 classes so I won't feel so nervous. If money weren't an issue, would you recommend that?

I think that would be fine. Putting yourself in an environment where you're forced to use your language is definitely going to help you. You can always move your level up afterwards if you feel the lower level classes aren't presenting you with enough challenge

Sorry, but Lingoda is exploiting its teachers. Therefore, no one should support that platform. In addition, their classes are way too expensive.
