The m11 production randomly still crash despite being the latest production as mentioned, however it becoming less and less reports and seemed like what you said most problems have been ironed out through firmware improvements, glad you enjoying yours and im settling down with mine too after more than a year, hope to see more of your videos, your experience excited me because seems like im looking into mine after all these years

I applaud your bravery. Love the idea of using an M11/rangefinder commercially. There are so many 'what ifs' though. Will it work with strobe lighting? Back button focus for stitch shots? Can I tether it? The cost (and I'll need a back-up camera so that means buying 2 Leica's). What if I'm abroad and need to hire some lighting/triggers - do hire shops have a good range of compatible kit? ... Still want one though :)

The regular M10 is even good enough for myself. I’ve been kicking around either a plain M10 or an M11 but it’s the issues with the new one that I just can’t get passed. I won’t get an M10R because I’m not going to pay the same price new for that as the new M11. I’ll give it some more time before decide if I’ll go 10 or 11. Thanks for the insightful video!

Honestly they have worked out the issues and have even put a plan in place just in case for immediate replacement. But all of the new cameras released are good at this point.

I agree. The Q2 has been wonderful. I had trepidations about taking it as my only camera to the UK the week before last instead of my Sony system with various lenses. The Q2 was such an amazing performer. Additionally, I did not need a multitude of lenses as I was able to crop to the same focal length with excellent results. This is the best camera I have ever used.

I can say absolutely! I simply love it and rarely shoot my R5 these days! I had my first unit replaced but since then I’ve been golden! I also, just purchased the Stella Pro Reflex lights after you first review. I saw the second one and I’m nervous but I’m comfortable with my lighting skill. Was your problem with the fake strobe or the LED light? Great Job!

Strobe. They are a solid light for sure, but just not for me. I’ve seen some amazing work made with them.

My beloved M7 that I bought new in 2002 still works like a charm and handles and feels just like my M11. And that's the key for me: Those things (lenses especially) are built to last. Note: I'm just a hobbyist so I might have different needs to a camera system.

Gorgeous instrument the M10, but Q2 is wonderful and i use it manual focus most of the time. It’s not as heavy and the lens is supreme.

I sold my Q2 for an M11 and miss the Q2’s auto focus and image stabilization. The Q2’s lens is incredible. Easily compares in quality to my 21 Super Elmar, 35 Summilux, and 75 Apo Summicron. But the M11’s sensor is way better in low light/high ISO. And interchangeable lenses has been nice. In a perfect world one would have two of each!

That is a perfect world 😂 but I’m happy with one of each. I do agree with the high iso. And the new face / eye detection on the Q2 firmware update works very well

Is there any way to shoot HSS pass the 1/180 SS? That's where I am capped with my Godox light and trigger with my M11

That commenter has no idea what they are talking about. The Summilux on the Q2 is one of Leica's best lenses. With that camera, it's almost like your buying the lens, and get a free built-in Leica camera with it.

😂 yes it does. But I’m always at f/2 unless I’m on the 40mm - and I find it surprisingly easy to focus at f1.2 on that lens

I’m not a pro photographer or a retired dentist, so it’s out of my price bracket. The Q2 would be fine if you don’t mind a 28mm lens that is really a 24mm lens. I am glad I rented it before buying it.
