The clutch adjustment on the GXT seems time consuming, another button and electric item to break. I really want the GXT but might just go with the LXT version for simple mechanical clutch

Depends on what brand you like and need, but I think the Makita deal is fantasic, $400 for 4x tools and 2 batteries is excellent.
