Guess we know why the guy sitting under the tree at night in Future Kakariko called his poacher dad disgusting. I think his mother at the potion shop adopted the baby tiger after her husband killed the poor baby's parents. Or maybe she's in on the scheme and raises them for fur, which is why she was called disgusting, too.

I never knew that the potion shop owner is his mother! Is there and in-game reference to that? 😯
@jaqirei
@jaqirei Жыл бұрын
@@Arasarcan The potion shop lady was only speculated to being sad tree guy's mother because of vague comments she makes during the Odd Mushroom quest, but it's never explicitly stated. Later it was confirmed outside the game in an official Zelda encyclopedia endorsed by Nintendo. Every wiki I look at says the potion shop lady and the master craftsman are married, and the cucco lady and the guy under the tree are their kids.

or she just wanted a pet baby tiger and sent her husband out to get her one, and he killed the mom in the process to make pants. Either way, what's weird to me is the tigers are _yellow._ a feature often seen in old asian art, but not on any real tigers.

The pre-rendered view from the doorway and window in Link's house was really striking to me as a child. Those monolithic woodland towers; silhouetted in the dense, green fog of the forest. Assassin's Creed 2's San Giacomo's skyline at dawn and dusk had a very similar feeling. I know now that it's more of a product of the limitations of the N64's graphics, but as a kid the mix of organic woodland scenery and strikingly sharp geometric shapes created a really memorable aesthetic to me. As if the gods carved this land out of the earth itself with perfect precision. Particularly in the Lost Woods and Sacred Forest Meadow. It's an aesthetic that I associate very strongly with Zelda.

If you pay close attention you can see Link's house when he is outside of his house doesn't match the size of it when hes inside it. Using Link's model as a gauge you can see its much larger when you're inside, OoT is actually full of this. For example the Fire Temple is two large vertical shafts, the implication is its located inside spectacle rock as seen in Death Mountain Crater but if you use a website like no-clip you can easily see the temple is too large to fit inside the two rocks as seen in game. The same is true for the Spirit Temple which is supposed to be located inside the Desert Colossus but the temple would be too large to fit inside the in game colossus. I personally see this as every location in the overworld is a scaled down version of what it would be "in lore" due to the N64's limitations.

Note for the piece of heart in Zora’s Fountain: Link can also acquire that (as well as get on top of the other ice floes that share its behavior) by wearing the hover boots. (I was shocked to not see this method in the video.) A couple more peculiar thing about Link’s boots: The iron boots cause him to walk slower on land but quicker underwater. (Most people [especially seasoned players] probably have noticed these.) However, from what I have observed, his swimming animation (and possibly ability) seems slower while he wears the hover boots. (?) Has anyone else noticed that?

There is something that you have probably miss Looygi Bros about Ganon (Final boss as boar form. Not Ganondorf): If you look carefully between OoT64, OoT3DS and Smash Ult, you notice somes details about Ganon. For example N64 Ganon have just 4 fingers while the one from OoT3DS and Smash Ult have 5 fingers. N64 Ganon have just 2 sharp teeth into his jaw while Oot3DS Ganon have 4 sharp teeth into his jaw while Smash Ult Ganon have better quality and more sharp teeth into his jaws. N64 Ganon don't have any tongue but 3DS and Smash Ult Ganon have a tongue despite 3DS ganon tongue is almost visible. N64 Ganon have a black thing clothe (the armor destroyed) behind his head with a yellow O draw on it while 3DS the destroyed armor is better see but missing the O yellow draw in back while Smash Ult Ganon have missing armor and missing yellow O draw and just have red clothe. There is more details to say like the horn on head who are different but it's to you to found out what else I didn't tell ;) If you wonder how I can know it, I use a 3D animation software called Source Filmmaker and use Gmods for export somes models from Gmods to SFM and people have manage to export Ganon from OoT64, OoT3DS and Smash Ult so it's more easy for me to notice thoses details ;)

I'm quite sure that "Poacher" is what Fado called the craftsman's son; he did, after all, steal the saw from his parents. I think it more likely that the tiger is a family symbol or mascot, and the craftsman's pants are synthetic. His son was just a depressed misanthrope. His sister, the Cucco lady, is obviously an animal lover, so I doubt she would abide by her father being a poacher of tigers.

The Craftsman is worse than a poacher he’s an idiot that got his son killed. But Fado is an even worse person. Not only is she the only Kokiri that we see to actually judge Link outside of Mido, she says that the only people who can’t get lost on the woods is the Kokiri, but it is heavily implied she let him leave (or even convinced him to) to become lost and turn into a Stalfos, when she could have shown him the way out. She literally killed a man. Wouldn’t surprise me if she did the same to the Graveyard Kid and the Death Mountain Gate guard.

@@gonxmaster I mean, as far as I know the ancient warrior that teaches sword techniques to Link in Twilight Princess is canonically one of the possible futures for OoT Link. And very much a stalfos.

@@DeltaFiend nahh he's more like a poe. Link could totally turn into a stalfos if he ever got lost in the woods, but he never gets lost forever ;) (and also because he's human. people with wooden skeletons like kokiri turn into stalkids instead)

It is incredible how day by day you find even more details, I never would have imagined that the rendered image of the link house would be of the lost Woods. It makes sense because link was a lonely child for not having a fairy. Thanks for The vídeo! 🙌

You can also get on the ice platform with the heart piece while in the water by hover boots, they'll hover you up for enough time during the climbing animation to not slip off. (If you ignore it entirely up until you get the hover boots, that is.)

Link appraches the Gerudo guard and start run in circle around her. Gerudo Guard: "WHO'S THERE?" Link go back and hides behind the wall. Gerudo Guard: "I guess it was just my imagination! Better go back to my post." Link: (Snorts and laughs!)
