If nintendo did even go so far to even lower the hight’s of those platforms to accomodate for the lower resolution along with panning the screen up & down, ( as if zoomin just wasn’t enough) Then why not just scale down those tile sets to make them all fit on the entire low-res screen instead???, But at the other hand they wanted to turn the disadvantages of the low-res screen into an advantage by hiding red coins all over the place, pretty clever.

I knew I didn't like the remaster just from what little I have seen of it, but I didn't expect to watch this video and be let down by like OVER HALF of the changes featured... if all an HD remaster does is remove the charm from the original in place of some generic fancy effects, I don't think it needed to exist, and this one already doesn't need to exist as a standalone game without the other two attached. That huge opaque reflection of Samus' face when she shoots missiles makes me wonder how she accomplishes anything when all she can see is her own eyes.

Majora's Mask is one of my most favorite games of all time! I got it for Christmas in 2000 and have played it since. It's wild some of these I had no idea about. The elegy of emptiness to get into stone tower was brilliant.

I gotta say, it is kinda disappointing that Mario doesn't open his mouth anymore on whenever he jumps on a spikey enemy on Switch as it greatly showed off his pained expression, but at least he gains bigger tears in exchange! Also nice to see Koopie Koo get some new facial expressions in the remake especially since she showed no sympathy in the original (and yeah, the back of her old model is cursed indeed)! I am glad to see that The Thousand-Year Door remake brought back the frog sound effect from the original Japanese version of the GameCube title as I never understood why they changed it to a cricket sound effect in Western releases (not a big deal, mind you since it still had the same functionality, but still pointless nonetheless)!

Either it’s me or the Framerate in this game is lower. Origami King definitely looked like it, but Color Splash- of course, and Super Paper Mario didn’t have this issue.

Just incredible how nintendo was able to not only add new things to SMB DX as well as adding small touches to it but how they even solved new problems with it like for instance i never knew about those changed rooms at the end of those underground levels as a replacement of those warpzone rooms in challange mode wow, in fact i have never asked myselfabout it how and what untill now when i realize that nintendo had to change those things to get around that.

In the original, when Koops first asks to join you, there's a section where his only dialogue is ellipsis, but his mouth still moves, as if he's actually saying "dot dot dot dot dot". In the remake, he no longer has mouth movement during that part.

legitimately, almost everything done on the original I feel is better :x

Fun fact: In the original version of the game most the effects like boss blood and even ganon's blood he coughs up from his mouth when u defeat him for the first half of the fight was changed due to it having a younger age rating, Same with fire temple chants from oot which was also changed due to some degree of controversy.

Not sure if it's in this list but I made a video that shows if you reach the great bat temple waterwheel room while it's stopped.
