Did Mazda make a better Isuzu DMAX with the 2023 Mazda BT-50 Pangolin? In this Filipino car review, we explore the top-spec 2023 Mazda BT-50 Pangolin 4x4 well and see if this is indeed a better Isuzu DMAX LSE 4x4. You see, Isuzu supplied the truck, but Mazda made the 2023 BT50 4x4 Pangolin more competitive by giving it a lower price, better after sales support in the form of the 5-year free PMS package, and it also looks quite good. The 2023 Mazda BT50 4x4 is a very underrated pick up truck here in the Philippines, but it is very capable. The Mazda BT-50 4x4 also has Mazda's skin, which means it is a beautiful truck. From the front, it looks like a Mazda CX-9, another beautiful SUV from Mazda. I would take the Mazda BT 50 Pangolin over something like a Toyota Hilux or a Mitsubishi Strada.

Nice review sir reygan. In a heated pickup war, i would pick the bt 50. Value for money, style, reliability plus they are not as common on the road.

underated on paper against its competitor ,despite its 3.0 L ,190 PS compare to Ranger 2.2 L, 210ps bi turbo and Hilux 2.8L, 200 ps ,its fuel efficient despite it large engine

I got this one last month as our 2nd car, but not the pangolin edition. I have a Subaru XV 2021, my wife loves this car so much. Our family likes this Subaru as well. But now my family loves the BT50 more specially when we're travelling out of town. I still like the XV when driving in the city, specially going to malls coz of it's size and maneuverability. But my wife and kids chose this over Subaru because of the riding comfort of this pick up truck. The ride was a bit bouncy at first, however after adjusting the tires PSI to recommended level, the ride was smooth even on slightly imperfect roads. Tolerable on bumpy roads. We got a good deal from dealership as well plus the 5 year free PMS, what more can I ask for?!

Removing the Pangolin drawing on the sides of the previous one is criminal. They should have retained that. Pangolin is an endangered animal and this car should be the vehicle of that awareness.
