How common no one is talking about the legendary 1.9 diesel engine
@cordeg34358 ай бұрын
Not sure why.. but I have it here in Aus and it's a good motor. It's popular in Sth east Asia

I owned both 1.9 dmax and 2.4 hilux,both are single cab and abuse both at bornean logging/jungle roads . My observation is both feel almost the same in carrying 900kgs(sometimes 1.3 tonnes at good weather) in terms of pulling power. The only differences are the 1.9 dmax need to revved higher than the hilux and the dmax are very efficient than the hilux. @@cordeg3435

Unfair comparison: The small-engined Isuzu D-Max is compared to the large engined Toyota Hilux.

Are these regeared as well? I was really curious how that 1.9 will be able to spin such a big wheel. Anyone has some more experience with these? Can you still drive uphill fully loaded?
