why would we trade dach primeau and matheson away, only 2 guys i see that im fine with is anderson and dvorak but pittsburgh never ever will do that especially when crosby in the trade

@matthew7827 So add a couple picks/prospects. Crosby is 37. He's on his way out. Habs are his childhood team. Montreal needs better center depth and veteran leadership. Crosby, Letang, Jarry would make us better at every position and scary to play against. The time is now to push for Cup. Montreal would need to unload some bad contracts, and it won't be free. You'll need to give up some decent players(Matheson, Dach) too though. We got a few D ready to make the jump like Hutson/Mailloux/Reinbacher. And even Kapanen. Letang said he wants to play in Montreal. Montreal said they want to make big trade. Who knows anything can happen. Just a thought, nobody needs to take it so serious. 🤣🤣

He's returning to Boston College this season, so 25-26 would be his first pro season ...if he decides to bail on his degree only halfway through, which is a big "if". And even if he did, he'd need time in the AHL, at least one full season unless he's a true generational talent (the second coming of Price - safe to assume he's not since he was 69th overall, not 5th). Goalies take time to develop. He'll still be only 22 at the end of four years of college, and Montembeault is playing fine. There's no need to rush Fowler. Zachary Fucale was once hyped. He was drafted 33 spots earlier than Fowler. How did he pan out?
