Thanks for the thorough review! How does Freo compare with other models like iRobot? Its mopping looks quite interesting, but not sure how big a difference over Braava / J7. Good that you don't need to wash / change the mops though

If price isn't in the consideration at all, I think this Narwal Freo is better than the Qrevo. It's comparable because the self cleaning system is the same, it makes the mop spin on that textured removable tray in the dock, it mops with the 2 spinning mop pads too and the Narwal has so much more feature. But if price is also factored in,t he NarwalFreo is at the premium range, which means its the same price range as the S8UltraPro. Now the s8ultrapro is different in terms of how it cleans, it uses a single mop pad on the front that vibrates to mop the floor, and the vacuum main rolling brush is dual. Both the Freo and Qrevo only has a single roller. From what I've seen on other reviews, theres not perceptible difference in its efficiency to vacuum, but maybe there are specific instances where it might be better, but I'm not sure how. And the s8ultrapro also dont use the removable tray thing to cleans its mop pad, they instead have a roller with a brush in the dock that would spin and sort of scrub that mop pad. It might seem like it's better, but you can watch the maintenance videos of some of these models and see that it actually make maintenance more troubles some because you kinda have to clean that brush in the dock, and some other parts need to be removed to maintain is so it doesn't stink. The other down side to the s8ultra pro I think, is that while it has that heating system to dry the pad in the dock, the mop pad is at the front meaning its away from where the hot air outlet is in the dock. The qrevo has the mop pad behind near the charging port. On one side you want it nearer to the hot hair obviously, but maybe it being partially outside will get some of the heat from the dock, but also the air circulation from he outside. Which one is more effective I'm not sure. but for general use, I think the Qrevo seems like such a no brainer. All these premium range like the s8ultrapro and freo generally has better detection, to a certain degree. But from the tested reviews it clearly does better than the Qrevo, but they still aren't perfect when it comes to charging cables. But between the freo and qrevo, the freo has I think way more features. Apart from the detection of object to avoid, its also advertised top be able to detect the kind of dirt its facing, meaning if its something like chocolate, or just a soda spill it can tell the difference and clean accordingly, like going over it more than once that sort of stuff, how effective it is I don't know. Freo also has the option to hook up to your water line so it auto refills clean water tank in the dock, that will refill the reservoir in robot vacuum. The dirt water tank still needs to be manually taken out and cleaned though. Also I think there are other models that also offer you to hook up to a hose to dump the dirty water automatically as well. But personally even thought I think it's a neat feature I'm sure some gunk and all that will build up in the dirty tank and you'd have to remove it and clean it just as frequently. Theres also another feature it advertises, as being more quiet, not sure how much quieter it is compared to the revolution. Also the main rolling rubber brush that vacuums, has a mix of actual brush in them and the Qrevo is just a rubber brush, again, vacuuming from some testing and demonstrations I've seen, it doesn't seem to have any difference, but I'd like to think the brush would help remove slightly more stubborn stain. I know design and the styling of the product can be subjective, but while the narwal freo design is somewhat more on the soft and feminine side, which I wouldn't really go for usually, I like that it make it look more user friendly. I mean it looks like a household machine more than the other design. I like that the tray is transparent and some plastic parts like the side brush is also transparent, it's easier to see when they get dirty. it also has a touch on display. I'm not sure if the settings there are as much as you can do in an app, so that might appeal for people who dont want to download the app to use it. All in all the Qrevo has most of the feature you'd find in premium range, what with the self mop pad cleaning, self emptying of the dust and mop water, or I think mop pad cleaning water. and it also has that drying feature in the dock to dry your mop pad. But if you dont have an issue of small object lying around all over your floor and such, for the vacuuming and moping alone the Qrevo seems to do the job more or less the same as the premium range, but keep in mind the price difference is almost double, between the qrevo and those premium range. If money were no concern at all, I'd pick Narwal, but if it's even just a little bit of a factor the Qrevo just seems like a no brainer. Besides I'm guessing these stuff are going to improve and advanced even more in 2-3 years, and you might want to buy a new one. I mean just look at the s7maxpro it was the top of the line then a few years ago, and then you have the Qrevo that just seems to be better than it in every way and its cheaper.
