Is the NETDUMA R3 Gaming Router a Waste of Money?

I could be wrong but I read from a NetDuma employee in the forums that "steady ping intentionally raises ping to ensure a better connection". Have you updated your router? There is another firmware update coming this week. Also keep in mind they basically said turn off most features for the time being.

If you buy a new R3 from Netduma direct do not pay extra for the 1-2 day shipping. I did pay the extra last Friday when I contacted them they said it was too late to ship on Friday no problem it was shipped on Monday and tracking says it will not get delivered till Friday no tomorrow Wednesday. Duma basically said that’s not delayed enough to refund the difference in shipping to a repeat customer and puts it on UPS and I’m out of luck. I would recommend you save your money I will see when delivered if postage is 1-2 day if not will share with you.

The server locations are in a library, basically they have to add the servers to the cloud which the router updates from there. If the server locations are not added, you will not see them. Fraser need to be informed to update the server list.

Its not that they are not just showing closeset its a problem with your isp-internet service providor / exit lag is not limited by a isp thats why its better i just got my r3 its great

1 year of using Exit Lag costs you 12*5 = 60$ 2 years 120$, 5 years it's 300$, I don't know how you think that Exit Lag is cheaper.

R3 has higher ping due to steady ping, try to turn it off and check if its making ping lower now

The steady ping increases latency and jitter. They are simply delaying packets which is why they can’t delay it it too far in ms as then packets are note evenly distributed and you end up with missing packets. Personally it’s not a feature I like as the idea is too maintain a steady connection but they have no control on the server side, only the home network.
