Girlfriend suggested we look at this one and it looks amazing. Initially, I was looking at the Rogue and CRV but this interior has them beat by miles. It's our choice after all the reviews and searches. Taos had a sales hold, Seltos has engine recall and overheating issues, CRV has a dated infotainment system, and Rogue as a neat interior but slow engine. This is it. Tucson. Thanks Raiti. Best reviews. Just don't watch them hungry, the guy loves talking snacks.

A lot of people won't appreciate this, but the complexity of the door/fender stampings and how well they line up is incredible at this price point. That's something you'd typicaly only see Lexus or Acura attempting.

This redesign is one of the most radical I’ve ever seen. It’s a beautiful cohesive design (In the eye of the beholder). I owned the last generation Limited, and this new model is significantly bigger. Like 6 inches longer. Major thumbs up to the 10.25” instrument cluster.

I recently purchased a 2023 Tucson Hybrid on 12/3/22. I loved the car when I test drove it and watched hours of reviews from KZbin. One thing that every single review failed to mention, is the issue Hyundai has with their panoramic sunroofs, as well as the small piece of glass inbetween the sunroof and the front windshield. There have been class action lawsuits filed against Hyundai because apparently these pieces of glass like to spontaneously burst. This happened to my 2023 Tucson after just ONE WEEK of driving. Walked out to my car ready to head to work, and noticed this giant crack in the glass, expanding from one end all the way to the other end. Car is back at the dealership right now, allegedly getting fixed at no cost to me. But some of the personal stories I've read online make me hesitant to believe that Hyundai is actually going to cover it. I'll come back with more details once I get an update. But just wanted other buyers to be aware of this common issue. I am not very pleased.

Joe, I test drove this Hyundai Tucson Limited today! Wow, I thought it was great. Great design, great ride. Cool features. And……;you were right. When I got in the car and looked at the bin in the middle, I thought to myself, “ Joe was right…..,you CAN get an entire box of Twinkies in there!” this one is definitely on my short list for my upcoming compact SUV purchase. Excellent review! I love your channel. I bought a ‘23 Limited and am 5000 miles in. I’m obviously biased, but I don’t think you’ll find a better compact SUV at this price point. Hyundai has come so far in the last 20 years and has crammed so much luxury and value into this gem on wheels that it’s ridiculous. While I love the gauge cluster, I’d give it half a zonk for lack of customization options. Otherwise, it’s clear, concise, and intuitive. Acceleration: from a dead stop, it’s a dog that sounds like a lawnmower about to blow apart. However: in sport mode, once you’re moving, if you’re gentle on throttle, the responsiveness and passing power you get is pleasantly surprising. Also, if you drive responsibly on long trips, you could get above 39 mpg on the highway. Bottom line, I’d buy another one tomorrow and never look back!

Hyundai's making some good strides with their vehicles. Loving the DRL's. That gauge pod looks fine, (which is weird for me lol). It's super clear, and a good size, nothing wrong with that. The integrated infotainment looks great. More HP is needed, for sure. Lori, as always, thank you for everything you do!

It's a gentle zonk on that dash monitor... it looks super functional, turning signals are cool, just would be nice to have it more seamlessly integrated into the dash. I'd like to know what you get with the base model. Honestly, like to see that for every mainstream ride you review. Base and loaded version evaluation, like what you did with the Bronco Sport!!

What I think will be the key for Hyundai is that I was not looking for a compact suv. They were not on my radar at all. You’re absolutely right. That center area is where drip and slips happen. But, it also seems to be where many car manufacturers are putting buttons and knobs....just waiting for gunk to collect. Take a look at the 2021 Santa Fe, it has a chasm smart phone well! Center buttons are a ridiculously poor design decision.

I just picked up my Polar White 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited today! So far, I'm kind of loving it. Also, I actually really like the cloth inserts in the dash and doors and the 10.4" dash screen that you say looks like an iPad. :) Honestly, it was one of the selling points for me. Love how modern it looks. So much nicer than its competition. Good review though! Thanks.

I’m digging the new design and Hyundai’’s push for even better quality materials. The new Tucson has a very modern looking exterior and interior styling. I love the fabric integrated on the dashboard and doors. Faux leather would make the surface texture too similar to the rest of the car, making it look too bland. The digital gauge and middle screen are fantastic, and only fancier cars carry them. The resolution on both screens are amongst the highest in the industry. I wish the automobile industry got rid of the arch that surrounds the gauge cluster. I also wish other cars had the blind spot cameras option. The only items I am zonking are the touch controls and the front middle AC vents. Lastly, shoutout to Lori for her great camera work. She always captures the best angles and areas curious car enthusiasts want to see.

As part of your standard engine bay overview, I would love it if, whenever it's printed on the oil filler cap, you'd read us what the oil spec is that's printed on the oil filler cap. In the first generation, I think Hyundai was the first to drop in a V6 under the hood of a compact SUV. Toyota soon followed suit by offering a V6 of their own on the RAV4.

Looks at least interesting on paper, and appreciate the 6 spd transmission rather than the CVT that Toyota uses on its hybrids. I appreciate the Gauge Cluster Joe. It’s simple and clean and more importantly I like to see Hyundai trying new things even if it’s a slight miss because they can refine it over time. I’m kind of bored of the classic way cars have been designed inside & out. It’s fresh here. There’s no perfect design, I see things here that I’m not crazy about but I think the South Koreans will have an easy hit on their hands with this 2022 Santa Fe! Lori did great on camera and Joe you did a great job with bringing this new model to us! Look forward to seeing you on the next ride!

This is the very first time I've dropped onto your channel, my friend, and I am going to "Subscribe" (no brainer) because, honestly, I've never seen or heard *anyone* do a review like you just did on this Hyundai. Maybe a little heavy on the styling/architecture end of things for me (I tend to be more mechanical) but HEY, I'm very, very impressed with the amount of information and just over the top, incredible detail you put into your review! Just got my Limited HYBRID 2022 on Saturday- NOTHING about this that i don't love love love!!! (couldn't wait for the "Plug In Texas" Committee to get their act together and allow the Plug Ins to be sold in TEXAS, so WHO knows when that would've become available, but this is DEFINITELY the next best thing BAR NONE!) And I was wondering why the rear end design of the Tucson looked so familiar, and then you said Mach-E (chicken teriyaki) and I was like that's it!
