It charges pretty fast for a wireless charger especially if your phone not completely dead

My 15-watt Apple MagSafe charger just arrived today. Didn’t know it needs a 20-watt brick. I happen to own a 60-watt brick. Will it damage anything if I use the 60-watt brick? Thank You
@TreborrayСағат бұрын
Nope! You are completely fine with the 60W. That’s pretty much where my bricks are. Thank you so much for tuning in!

if you're going for speed I wouldn't get the MagSafe, but if you're in it for convenience MagSafe is amazing

It works at 15w with the 20w brick. Mine gets warm but not hot.
@Treborray21 күн бұрын
That would probably be the smartest way to charge it to avoid it getting hot but then it’s like why spend that much to not get the full potential. I was impressed with how fast it was charging before throttling.

@@Treborray Because on sale it was only $2 more then the old one was on sale. And it has a nicer cable. I tried a 30 watt Anker charger and yes it got way too hot for my liking. Went back to my 20w Apple charger.
@Treborray21 күн бұрын
So glad you shared that because I was thinking about trying Anker or ESR.

@@Treborray One thing to keep in mind. I bought it at Wally World. DONT. They don't tell you that theirs is an older model and not the newer Nano Charger that has a cooling system it. There's a killer Cyber Mon deal on that place that's named after the huge river in South America, right NOW! I'm cool with a little slower charging as I charge while sleeping. Great info you have on your channel btw.
