Kevin, I'm glad you got the roof on the woodshed, as I saw the wind picking up while you were installing the first piece. It's so nice to watch the goats just browsing through the grass, munching along happily. I was thinking of a name for the buck. I looked up the word for father in Cherokee, and it is Agidoda. Since the new buck will be the father of the future crop of kids, Agidoda might be an appropriate name for him. You could call him Agi for a nickname.

Watching you do the roof on the wood shed and talking about cutting your hands on the roofing sheets. It brought back my memories of cutting my left thumb on a 2X4 piece of aluminum sheeting right down to i the bone. Just like you I didn't have on my Home Depot work gloves. When my son was very little, even tho there was no physical similarities other than being male and speaking gently, my son thought my Dad was The Mr. Rogers on the TV. In a way, I guess, he was. They were best friends, my Dad and my son. Now they are both gone. Miss them both.

I still like the name Elvis for the new buck. All the women flocked to him like crazy and your goats will flocked to him in the same way. Tell Rachel I'm praying for her mom. My mom passed away in 2016 and I spent all my free time with her the last few years of my life. It wasn't easy but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
