I dont think that its here to replace it...more so to celebrate it in a new light and to bring back some old nostalgio in a new form. The price is too much for what it is but I guess its just for the people who want it so bad they are still willing to pay. It looks awesome in my opinion but I couldnt justify paying that much when I can get better and more fun cars, even multiple of them for the price of this Cauntage.

Also Ferrari named it Daytona because the design takes inspiration from the Ferrari race cars that took part in the 1967 24 hours of Daytona! Meanwhile, Ferrari never named the 365 GTB officially as Daytona!

I like it a lot, and no, it's not a rebodied Aventador. But it is a marketing exercise and does not have anything really in common with the original. There is a direct lineage that goes: Miura; Countach; Diablo; Murcielago; Aventador; Revuelto. The successor to the Countach is the Revuelto. And if we want to be anal about it, the Miura had a transverse V12, so it's a different architecture so arguably the Countach is the first modern V12 Lambo.

It's a rebodied Aventador, only difference mechanically is the supercapacitor. The Revuelto is successor to the Aventador!

A bit of trivia: Even though this reimagined Countach is a hybrid, it has no batteries. The electric motor is powered by an ultra capacitor, not a battery. The ultra capacitor gives up its energy much quicker than a battery, which helps it accelerate much faster.

this car doesn't have the notorious reverse parking window on the back. That's what the Countach is known for. They need to lower the roof on the back and add a small window, so people would once again get the nostalgia of reversing with the door open.
