The MK and Red Eye are so different. The MK isn’t really a replacement. It’s more of a game changer. I can’t hit those long range clean tags with it so it forces me to be closer to my opponents. I don’t think it’s a bad gun..maybe not as good as the chapter 3 MK though.

I absolutely fried with the red eye and it was honestly one of my favourite assault rifles to ever touch the game. Everything comes to an end and I am actually excited for the different style of gameplay that the MK Alpha brings. What are your thoughts?

on console (at least in my games), almost no one used the red-eye. the micro adjustments needed at range were really tough to use because the aim assist was very weak on it. I'm afraid of the mk though lol

I play on console as well and I can agree/relate that almost nobody in my games used the red eye but me, everyone else would usually be using the DMR.

Same here, I’d be the only one using the red eye and even then not all the time because it would always be a hit or miss for me depending on how good my aim was that day.

it’s as good as the MK-7 but better since it does normal structure damage, i’d say it’s as good as the Flapjack since it’s better for damaging opponents but when it comes to structure damage and mag it’s tons better along with better headshot multiplier

I struggled with the red eye( I play on console) because it did not have good aim assist and had a small red dot making it hard to shoot. But I can understand that the red eye is good on pc. Mk was much better in c3 s1 but this is still great.

On controller Mk rules! Once you get use to the "recoil" parent, it fries. If you get a clean shot at someone unsuspecting you, it's over. It's like a free headshot with the gold heavy.

If this gun is used correctly, with precise tracking and recoil control, it’s a stronger weapon compared to the red eye. And it actually takes skill to use this weapon compared to the red eye. I do wish it had the old recoil, but the vanilla MK7 was busted af. I’m just glad they brought it back because it’s my all time favourite gun in this game

In my opinion I’ve always liked the MK ( this one and the old one ) better than the red eye . I always hated using the redeye and didn’t even pick it up when I played games. Plus with the Mk in the game your not forced to carry an smg for close range engagements since you can just use the MK at close range as well pretty affectively.

Apparently Zemmie forgot the most amazing thing Is you can single fire the effing gun, it’s not a hard thing to figure out and it lasers from a distance far better than the thermal dmr or havoc ar. The red eye was great, but this ar is amazing too, it’s called don’t hold the effing trigger down the whole time, it’s not rocket science. But I will agree the pistol is mean as well, it’s beastly too, but I prefer the MK, it’s got that distance and again if you single tap fire it, it lasers

Well, I like the MKO lot because I used it a lot and when I used it, I got better with it and once you get better with it, it’s just overpowered to use so in conclusion for starters the red is better but for once you get used to it for the MK. It’s it’s better in my opinion.

I’m on controller and the red eye was hard to use but I used this mk and it is really good. With its faster fire rate than the red eye and I can use a shotgun and sniper with it. I think the mk is better on controller
