@@marciefahl2163 as far as the classics catalog of games I think they are all streaming. I forget whether or not you can download the remastered games or not but it's worth it. You also get cloud storage too which is nice. Store all the PS plus games there

Just upgraded and I'm so happy and excited, there are quite a few games I've been very sceptical about and haven't realy wanted to pull money out try, like death stranding and returnal, but im downloading them right now, theres a lot of games in there that look decent and there are so many games from ps1 and ps2 era that I was never able to complete since I was too young or was never able to play because my parents couldn't afford them for me, so I'm really hapoy with this.

One thing I would really like to see in the emulation or even overall in the PS4/PS5 (and all systems) is better controller mapping and allowing you to set it per game. I was trying to play Jak and Daxter and the right analog stick is inverted from what I am used to and nothing exists in the settings for that so I will just emulate on the PC if I want to play it.

I signed up for a premium and I'm absolutely loving it I have the digital PS5 so as much digital content as possible is fantastic for me. I also own very little games that are on the catalog so that is even better love this service!

It’s well worth it especially for PS5 gamers u get £70 games like Demons Souls And Returnal etc, there’s a good selection of PS4 games I saw Maneater and Outer Wilds are on there, Observer System Redux to name just a few games I wanted to get, then there’s the PS3 streaming which I’d use to try games like God of War HD, I just wish the PS2 selection had all the Silent Hill games and Haunting Grounds, Rule of Rose, Fatal Frame with trophies I’d be in!

It’s not a lie it is literally 18 a month which is ridiculous. Yes you can buy a yearly sub but it still isn’t worth that either. Face it all the games on there are all at least a year old. Most people have already bought or played them and even if they bought them in a years time there would have been a sale for $30 bucks at least. Service is not at all worth it and doesn’t even compare to gamepass which gives you day one releases.

Been using it since day one and no problems with streaming or downloading. I really like that they stuck resident evil directors cut in the mix. I'm hoping to see metal gear solid, dino crisis, parasite eve and much more. Will see how time goes on because it litterly just started but I love it so far 👍🔥🔥🔥

Listen all I’m gonna say is that it’s a good start and especially with trophy functionality coming with a good chunk of these old games definitely helps to give even more joy into playing these games again. If they introduce all the old Tomb Raider games with trophies along with soul reaver, the legend of Dragoon, hopefully they’ll introduce trophies to Resident evil down the road and also with the other two good resident evil games on ps1 along with metal gear solid they’ll definitely have me as a hardcore subscriber!

I got the Extra tier as I missed a few of the big games, namely Returnal, Demon Souls and Ghosts of Tsushima as well as a bunch of PS4 games. Really happy with the service so far.

I upgraded to Premium from my base plan. So far, I love the selection of games and I can see the value, especially for someone like me skipped on the PS4 era. However, I may downgrade to Extra because the classic games are fairly limited, but that may chance once they start adding more classics. I tried the PS3 streaming with SF 3rd Strike, and it's surprisingly good but it did have some sporadic lag. Overall, I'm looking forward to what Sony can do with this new PS+.

I upgraded to PSPlus premium for $1.98 due to my current PSPlus subscription running out in a few weeks. I delved into the current catalog and back catalog. However, I downgraded back to Essentials because the offering as it currently stands isn’t compelling for me. I own all of the big games that are in the catalog, and the back catalog is meh. I’ll reevaluate in 3 or 4 months to see if it makes sense.

Tried it out so far, while I do like Gamepasss much more, I was surprised how good the PS4 streaming is on FIBRE internet, no lag and image quality was just as good as disc version. , but I would not recommend it on any other type of internet. Sony needs to put more of their own branded games on there. There are also many more PS3-4 games I hope are on there like Sly Cooper.

For the cost of two games annually we get access to hundreds of games. Also with an external hard drive we can store several games. There are several ways to pay for the service like monthly TRI monthly, or annually but if you have enough money I'd suggest spending the 120$ up front. Especially if you already went ahead and purchased a few games that you now own this way we can expand our Playstation libraries by alot . My favorite thing about the service is that as long as we can continue to pay the annual fee then we can keep the games forever. I love how when I turn on my PlayStation 5 I have access to hundreds of games ready to download. Of course I went ahead and purchased the games that I definitely wanted to own like all of Kingdom Hearts and Tekken 7 (the definitive edition is on sell til the 21st for 30$). But like I said for the cost of two games per year we get access to hundreds of games to play and keep. Lastly I'm impressed that Sony didn't turn competitive with Xbox and they went their own way with things. I'm happy they did that instead of trying to be competive they decided to support their consoles and customers with games Playstation fans would appreciate. I think it's awesome how we can stream Playstation's older games like PS3 games. For owners of Playstation 5s I can't recommend Premium Plus enough. There are some games that aren't on the service yet like RGT said but from what I've already seen my mind is blown. I will only need to buy Kingdom Hearts four when it eventually comes out but until then I have zero reason to buy any more games.

Also, I tried streaming an FPS and started getting some motion sickness because of the lag/joystick movement. That's what I've been wondering. My subscription expires on August 1st (my birthday), and I'm debating whether or not if I should upgrade to Extra or Premium? Since there's only 48 days left, the Extra upgrade is like $6 CAD, and the Platinum upgrade would be roughly $9 CAD ish for me.

Well it depends when it goes to your expire you will have to pay the fee for the version you own or let the subscription expire

@@Fahhad007 Well I just bought the Premium upgrade today for about $8 CAD. I'll try some of the classic games and trials available, and then I'll decide if I'm satisfied with it or if I'd rather switch to Extra after my current subscription expires.

I think it's well worth it. Streaming is no longer glitchy like it was on PlayStation Now.

Psnow before this was a pretty decent base library. It suffered since Sony didn't prioritize it but, this new potential will hopefully pan out.

For the first time in the 25 Years I’ve been playing PlayStation I was finally able to load up Intelligent Cube. I used to have the Demo Disk it came on from when I first got the PS1 back in 1997. And was only able to get to Stage 2. That was all it had… Now I’m on Stage 3 and taking my time with it. Since I never seen it I never looked this Game up I just knew I’d play it again. Originally I was going to get the PS Classic for it. But I heard about the PAL Stuff and said Nah. Then I recently added it to my eBay which is still on there. Then I read it was going to be here and with Trophy support I was like Let’s Fucking Goo!!! Plus Syphon Filter with Trophies sign me up. Just wish Resident Evil Director’s Cut had them. After 26 Years you think they would have added them too!

honestly I like it. is it worth getting it for some people who can't afford games with the console. yes. I also think new stuff will be coming down the road to compete with game Pass. stray is just the beginning.

I'm glad some of these youtubers are giving the service it's due. There are no 50hz pal region duds. There's a LOT of games and some pretty new stuff as well. It's not gonna have the same release day content as gamepass, but sony has a stable of timeless classics so I think that kind of levels the playing g field.

I’m still on the fence if I want to upgrade to it but there are decent titles. It would be cool to see older titles like The legend of dragoon but that might be wishful thinking 😆 I’d also like to see the rest of the F.E.A.R games as well. The other thing is I’m sure a lot of people use emulators for a lot of these games and I wonder, is there online comparability with these older games?

This isn't a bad service, but xbox game pass has way more to offer from their service and is cheaper. All I say about this service is it's a step in the right direction, but if they plan to compete with what xbox has. They're gonna need to start throwing more of their newer exclusives on here and also bring some cult classics from the ps2 like sly cooper series, the ratchet and clank trilogy, and possibly the metal gear solid series. I mean this is just a few series out of the many that need to be on this service if they plan to take on gamepass. Bc gamepass actually allows you to play majority of cult classic xbox games and puts almost every new xbox exclusive on their service. This service definitely needs some work before I'm willing to call it perfection. It is good tho.

Xbox isnt cheaper compared to PS5 if you pay annually instead of monthly. Xbox needs to follow that model for gamepass.

Having some of the ps5 exclusives is a huge plus period. The exclusives alone make it more appealing than game pass imo.
