Seems pretty shitty. Just getting a small ping isn't that helpful, the hitmarker is already enough info that someone's in the general area. Also being countered by ghost of all perks is a death sentence. Definitely needs a buff

Yeah useless perk. In the no thumbs protected sbmm bracket the enemy will be in the same spot. In my lobbies they will have either instantly left the room or already slid out and started shooting you. The dot is useless.

I noticed that since this perk was added, you can hear enemy operators’ vocal calling out for “incoming grenade/tacticals”(without actually equipping the perk). I think this might be a bug, since we don’t hear any other enemy voice lines.

Based on my experience using this perk in 2012, it's extremely underrated. Find a flashbang into a building and knowing exactly which corner somebody is sitting in on the hardpoint or whatever is a big advantage

The *only* thing it’s good for is allowing you to use the Recon specialty from Level 1 on a fresh prestige if you have either Ghost or Ninja permanently unlocked, before you have an actual worthwhile blue perk (Vigilance) in the Tier 3 slot.

I miss the old days of MW3 when you would spawn at the base of the map Dome, and then proceed to throw flashbangs right away and tag the whole enemy team. I feel that this version should be a bit more stronger but nothing too crazy.

However, I can understand that if the entire team had this perk, could get out of hand but there is still Ghost that can counter it. So honestly I can see it working really nicely in this game. But if anything as a side option, you could make this a default perk for the Recon class upgrade instead of the wall hacks off spawn. That way, you actively have to make use of your abilities but that's just me.

PSA : the quartermaster perk doesn’t work as intended. Stims recharge in approx 26 seconds without the perk. With the perk, they recharge at approx 22 seconds. And yet, the perk description says that stims recharge twice as fast

And then they nerf dispatcher in the first week. Honestly how is this content fun for anyone? Perks are weak, streaks are too expensive. I would love if you made a video comparing these perks and streaks to something like BO2. The relative power of everything is so much lower nowadays, and its just plain boring

People would post videos of cod4 about getting helicopters. MW2 it was about choppers gunners and nukes etc. Main point being that you played these games to get cool streaks and destroy people. Just a thought with the fire, will it ping them running through the fire if they weren't affected by the first "blast"? In the example you showed, you had them get hit first, then run through again after the point faded. Maybe it pings the same player only once per lethal?

Just a suggestion ... tactical expert is neat. Scavenger would be HUGE for this. With scavenger you can get 3 or more sets of your tactical and lethal per life. That's 6+ chances to ping groups of people for your whole team (8+ with underbarrel). This is compared to 4 if you combine tactical expert and your lethal (and with tactical expert if you pick up supplies from scavenger or assault pack you only get 1 of each, and I think nothing for the underbarrel from scavenger and 1 round from assault pack). The assault pack does allow for a quick 7 options (unload lethal, tactical, and underbarrel, then follow up with assault pack for 3 more). Depends on game mode, depends on the map a bit. But, I think this new perk has a lot of potential. Especially for things like hardpoint where you can figure out (basically) where people are beyond the typical hiding spots at each location. And, I love that it works for your whole team! tactical, lethal, underbarrel, scavenger, quartermaster, assault pack, tactical expert, and danger close are all solid modifiers for this. Of the 6 that give you extra options I think scavenger will have the most impact. I feel like assault pack is a close second as it can be taken advantage of by teammates as well.

@ still has more usage in defensive situations, right? Are there 2 defenders? 1? 5? When I play with friends in a team of 3-6 I’m definitely going to try this out to give info about how areas are defended. Feels like you’re being overly negative. It definitely has very little value in free for all. As with most stuff, different maps and game modes will adjust the value. The more fun stuff isn’t just hugely powerful all the time and in all ways. The most fun stuff is situationally great.

@ well, bankroll does absolutely nothing in some game modes where there are no scorestreaks at all. And, the less you die, the less this does. Vigilance isn’t very strong at all. The counter for CUAV is anyone on your team with a SAM turret. Quartermaster also isn’t very strong. The recharge time on it is pretty long. Assault pack can replicate this, even if someone else drops it. Scavenger is WAY stronger for the same basic uses. Double time is solid, depends on the map. On maps like nuke town, steakout, pit … and a handful of others it’s useless. But, I run this in some builds regularly. Especially in FFA. Gearhead is over powered. That’s a really strong perk on almost any build (weaker with assault pack). Depending on the game mode, I’d pick guardian over some of your choices (another strong choice that is ONLY useful in some situations).

I agree Quartermaster is outclassed by Scav and packs but in SND it is viable since ppl take Ninja/Ghost/Gungho over Scav. The new perk is clearly among the weakest if not the weakest in Perk3

I've been using it. I like the idea of it as it changes how you play. Shifts focus from gun play to equipment use. I tried the obvious scav + intel + vigil (greed) class with under barrel tube and launcher. Works okay except when countered by ghost, trophy, and getting killed due to slow launcher switching speeds (under barrel and secondary). Fun to try but found wanting. Consequently been using it on an acoustic amp + ghost + tracker + quater (greed) class. Bit more consistent as a team flanker / spotter. Except the map design n operator skins make stealth / flanking very difficult; and also problematic with constant spawn side flipping. All in all, finding the loadout system is very team play orientated (i like that) but majority of COD community aren't team play oriented, they're kill to deaths oriented, so will always pick selfish speed and consistency kits so can get streaks and brag on social media about their mad skillz.

Shrapnel Radar is very good for points. I play 10v10 and sometimes just launching flashbangs and grenades or rockets will land so many points. Otherwise it's bad, but I often use Perk Greed and this is the extra perk I use

Its a gimmicky perk that is only useful in very specific situations and can easily be countered. I would only use it in snd as people don’t typically run ghost in snd and getting that brief info on an enemies location would be pretty valuable

@@LD-sx9pr Honestly feel like Blue has the worst overall. Besides ghost and ninja I don’t use them too much. Red perks have benefits that don’t require conditions be met. Gung-Ho is crutch. Assassin is super useful as it tracks people live and gives you bonus score. Scavenger is just better Quartermaster+Assault pack. Bankroll is always a good bonus and same with Double Time. Bruiser and Dexterity are the only truly weak ones

If anyone has the time or is willing to look at this, I was playing Nuketown and running Gearhead and I was able to hack an enemy spring mine about 7 times in a row while getting 25 score for each hack before the mine killed someone, theoretically on a larger map, if the mine isnt triggered are you able to just hack it dozens of times and earn a lot of score or am i just tripping?

That's one of my gripes with the perks in general in this game is that so many of them revolve around scorestreaks and the mini map that they become obsolete if you play anything outside of core 6v6 like hardcore or face off

Hello guys, I guess the event bug is in warzone. Only play multiplayer had 0 jolly archies when event started. It does not drop once for every player in the opposite team, so you could get 6 every game. It is random :))) I got 4, sometimes 7. It droped 1 nuketown domination other teams flag :) I couldn't reach it where I killed the player there :) I always died and we didn't switched. Have to play a lot to unlock all 12 items. this sucks :))) I believe face off is the best mode to get jolly archies. Hope Ace will analyse this as well.

I feel like this perk and a lot of perks in this game are weak. I wish they brought pro perks back as a way to buff the weaker perks. For example this could have a pro version that gives a live directional red dot for 3 seconds. Other overlooked perks could large pro perk bonuses such as bruiser getting a 50% score bonus on melee kills and strong perks like Ghost get weak pro bonuses such as 10% longer time staying still before it deactivates.

Really both of the new perks kinda suck. Shadow and Shrapnel both seem pretty useless. Minimap seems pretty weak in this game unless you have forward intel. Almost everyone is using suppressors so I rarely look at the minimap cause I just never expect anyone to popup unless I know a uav is active.

*People are saying aim assist turns off at times in difficult lobbies with controller and in my case while using M&K on PC (in difficult lobbies after SBMM puts me there) I feel my gun kicks way harder at certain number of bullets when shooting my 2nd or 3rd target throwing off my aim. I hope you do a video on that.*
