Does anyone else wish the spears velocity kept going even after hitting someone, so you just watch them fly back 30 metres. Shit would be even more satisfying! You’re running down a lane, you see your homie way up round the corner, seconds later you see him come flying back into view and sticking into a wall. Amazing.

i already have the mercury camo unlocked for it and i seriously enjoy using it. however i think the throwing isn’t that good overall. it is really fun, but youre better off with throwing knives. also on keyboard and mouse the melee lunge is VERY inconsistent. i’m not sure if it might be a sprint to melee delay or what, but there are many times where i’m close enough for the lunge to kick in, yet it doesn’t. it’s very strange

It has been fun to use on small maps. I think the range is fine since it is a narrow attack angle. Still trying to master the throw. I am a camo grinder so working on camo mastery with it. Probably will pack it up after I am done with interstellar.

The hit angle definitely makes sense. I was using it yes and it was feeling super inconsistent where I was missing some point blank attacks but then sometimes would get crazy lunges. I feel it’s balanced but if they decide to nerf the range, they’ll absolutely have to increase the hit angle to 20-25° to make it usable.

I really like this weapon, however the throw mechanic might actually be bugged. I made a post about it on the subreddit, but I think the long delay while tac sprinting doesn’t seem to even start the wind up animation until half a second after holding the trigger. Alternatively, the throwing knife doesn’t seem to have this problem. Due to the insane movement speed we have in this game now, I think some tweaking of the throw and windup speed for the spear wouldn’t hurt, without making it OP.

I'm surprised how slow your mobility is with the spear. With a weapon that's made to be both big and light, you'd figure that it'd at least have better mobility than the sledgehammer which is probably the heaviest melee weapon. So many old school weapons. Besides the collateral factor and having 3, the pickaxe and skål crusher from vanguard are way easier to use since you could cancel aim and the trajectory felt better

I did a lot of time playing, you should check what happens in smoke. It's different, the max hit angle is not there. It's really hard to get the lunge off in smokes.

Theres a big problem with the MWIII in game leaderboards, and currently theres a bunch of accounts named -- flooding the leaderboards like crazy and its extremely frustrating to see the hard work that i put into headshots being flooded by these hackers. this wasnt like this a week ago, but im hoping you could make a video to spread awareness of these leaderboards being flooded by hackers. idk how they even get past ricochet anti cheat with these stats, but this hurts... i am currently top 50 in headshots, and of course if you filter it from "Lifetime" to "Current Season", you will see the mass amount of -- accounts flooding the leaderboards... I WAS 7th in the world for headshots this season only to have it flooded so hard that im now 39th in the world this season....

I am happy and it is fun. I wonder if you can get a cross map shot on the small maps. I have not tried. I think this should stay around as a secondary. I do not find the lunge too long as when you are running and they are moving that 15 degrees is easy to miss.

I'm a little confused. You showed that scavenger replenishes your spears, but in your end clip, the spears did not replenish with your melee attacks and scavenger procs. Why is that?

Yesterday i had a 30 kill game with the spear, but since today... it feels nerfed. The automatic launch at enemey's is shorter, the quickness of stabbing is slower, cant seem to hit anybody right now. You tested it on multiplayer, but i think they shadow nerfed it in warzone. Its just not working anymore.

Caveman -- great description. It's what I run, and it is GREAT fun --- especially when you get good enough with the bow. Bow for long range, speak for close and personal.... mucho fun. Fun fact: in the lobby animation waiting for the game to start, when it shows your player character, since both bow and spear are 2ndary weapons, they DO NOT SHOW on your character. Arms hold nothing, nothing on your back, etc.

The lunge range is crazy, I tested and got around 4.5m and the sledgehammer it’s more like 3.5m idk maybe it was a weird one off situation but it’s definitely being nerfed since the sledgehammer had a 5.3m range before it was nerfed and how fast the attack is

Everyone is treating it as a big throwing knife, I've hardly seen anyone try to melee with it. I think the lunge range is fine with the gladiator still in its current state. It's definitely fun to use in a big bongo unga bunga set up.
