The plate is definitely a forked "wishbone" shape with two prongs that run further into the forefoot. It didn't show up in your cut because the middle is mostly foam with the plate creating two wings on either side of the forefoot

Great video Zach! Really want to try these out. Without having them in hand, I appreciate Nike adding a little bit more "comfortability", especially around the tongue. I have the Hoka Tecton X 2 and New Balance Supercomp Trail coming in the mail, which to me seem like the other two premier trail racing shoes with carbon plates. Can't wait to compare.

I have it . Plate is horrible , so stiff and cause pain when you run. They look flat , not funny to run in Also doesn’t grip at all in the wood . Otherwise it seems durable.
