Let me just paste my answer to another, similar comment, OK? I'm tired of people saying that 3D makes them feel sick... Just get a *New* 3DS, with eye tracking. I have a New 3DS XL and I can literally look at it at any angle, just the camera has to see me. Only times I lose focus is when I'm having a really bumpy car ride or when the camera is dirty. During normal gameplay, I never have any problems, and I have 3D on all the time. I can't even imagine playing Super Mario 3D Land or any TLoZ in 2D... I tried and it's waaay more difficult when you can't see the depth of the pit in Link Between Worlds or distance from next platform in Mario. In conclusion, there's no way I'm trading my New 3DS XL for any other version.

the problem with vita is lack of games and now it is not powerful to run modern games that are on ps4 now if sony makes a handheld ps4 which has slightly less power than ps4 and runs games at 720p instead of 1080p on original 512gb storage with ability to have external storage via usb 5.5" display all psn games on ps4 be playable on ps4 portable as it is just ps4 but portable ability to use same external hdd on both handheld and ps4 I would buy that while I have original ps4 buying ps4 pro or slim while owning original ps4 just doesnt worth it at all I dont mind paying 399 on ps4portable though oh and be chargable using usb c or 3.0 so I could just use external anker battery bank now this is nintendo switch killer cuz switch also lacks games while ps4 portable can run any game on psn from 2013 like any ps4

It still turns on, but it randomly turns off so I had to stop using it and got a Galaxy theme New 3DS XL. I really like the galaxy thing and of course the bigger screens, more memory and stylus, but I really liked the shiny design.

It looks good at first but as is the problem with most devices that use that type of material, it quickly smudges and in the long term looks pretty bad. It's not durable at all, scratches easily, and smudges easily. It really sacrifices practicality for the aesthetic which I'm really not a fan of.

The 3D was a gimmick. I think the New 2DS XL is the best version. That's cool they chanced the SD card slot and game cart slot into 1. The small stylus is fine. It's a shame that people keep writing off the 3D as a gimmick. It's become second nature to play particular games with it enabled. Fire Emblem Awakening and Bravely Default made use of it in such an amazing way, especially the later just absolutely gorgeous. Lazy crap found in Pokémon X and Y and Smash 4 is crap I’ll give you that but other games more than make up for it. I'm remembering more now; 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure and Super Mario 3D to Hell with your "3D was a gimmick" what rubbish No forward-facing speakers on a handheld-console? Disgraceful. A smaller stylus only forsakes what the original concept was but Hell, games don't even use the mic anymore Nintendo ought to call the contemporary 3DS for what it is, a God damn Gameboy. i recently bought one of these and i’m personally very satisfied with it. the only things i found annoying were the top screen and it’s surrounding areas getting dust and fingerprints easily (i’m assuming the white/orange version doesn’t have that problem tho) and the speakers being at the bottom of the system which makes it harder to hear the game if you’re not wearing headphones

I bought it back in 2012 and after these 5 years, it's right-side hinged finally gave out, meaning it's taped down with GORILLA duct tape (sturdy af). The camera & loudspeakers (also no 3D inside the upper screen), are at the bottom for 2 reasons : Easy access & repairablility (and also saving some money when manufacturing).😉 Come with some disadvantages : The loudspeakers are most of the time cover with your hands (both sides), to take a picture or record a video, you have to hold the 2ds xl in an uncomfortable position. (As show in this video.)

After many years of gaming i bought a new 2ds xl this morning. As a old school and o.g. gamer i recommend this system. It looks gorgeous and plays nes and snes games! The only weak thing about this system is that the screen is a bit loose. Iam in love with Nintendo again after the gba sp. 5 out of 5!

I personally think the White, and Orange looks ugly, and I'm glad Nintendo decided not to release it here in the US, because unless you handle your console with clean cloth gloves white is going to get dirty faster over time, and if you have kids like me then good luck on keeping it white longer then a month lol!

I do love the 3DS XL and I did use the 3D feature often at the start but bc I wear glasses, I usually take them off so I can get comfy and play, but due to that I have to get a little closer to the screen, and then the 3D feature isn’t as good if that makes sense. the 2DS XL seems perfect for what I like and I know lots of people that recommend this one 💛🥺

it doesn't really offer that much over a regular 3DS model, just snes games and a very small amount of games that are on new 3DS and not regular 3DS, and all of the good ones are on other platforms too (Xenoblade is on Wii and Wii U, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth on a lot of other things, etc.). If you have that money to throw around but your regular 3DS works fine, just get some new games instead. If your regular 3DS is kind of falling apart, then sure

What I noticed is that the 2DS and 3DS top screens are legit smaller than the touch screen on the XL consoles.... That just gives you an idea of how big of a screen you get, which is great. I got my Aqua blue 3DS for £60, and for £20 more the 2DS XL is definitely worth the upgrade, if you have a 3DS or 2DS. If you have an original 3DS XL basically it takes away 3D (who uses it anyway) and you get a cooler design, slightly larger screen and a generally faster and newer console. What I called two iPhone 4s stuck together is just an awesome piece of Nintendo glory
