This mixer is just the right size for my family for bread making. It makes great cakes and cookies, too! I don't find cleaning to be a hassle. I never liked my Kitchen Aid, so I gave it away and got this because I like the open bowl.

Yes, this is much stronger than a KitchenAid. Great choice.

I have this mixer and I absolutely love it. I love the size because I only make about 3 loaves a week. I like the compact size of it. I get quick windowpane. The cleaning is not that big of a deal. If you spray a little oil in and let it knead a second the dough and mixer hook comes out easy cleaner. Well worth the money

I love this mixer. I just fill bowl with warm water and put hook in to soak, 20 min later easy cleanup.

I have used my NutriMill for about one year for bread. I make two loaves at one time(6 cups of flour), as I believe only one loaf is a little small for this mixer. I mix all ingredients about one minute on speed one, and then move to speed two and mix for fifteen minutes. I do keep the cover on during mixing / kneeling. Once done I put the dough into a stainless steel large bowl and cover with plastic wrap and let rise about one hour. Dough rises wonderfully and then I place onto a plastic pad and divide into two equal parts. Pat down and roll tightly each piece and place into bread pans. Cover and let rise for another hour. Bread rises high. Bake at 325F in a convection over for about 42 minutes. Bread comes out beautiful brown and quite soft. I have tried many times to make dough with my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, and while good, it cannot match the rise and texture of the NutriMill. I have all sorts of attachments for the NutriMill, including an ice cream maker, but have not tried those, as I am so delighted with how it makes bread! Buy this machine for great bread!

I have had my Artiste 2 years now and really like it for making yeast breads. A real workhorse. Kept my newish Kitchen Aid for cakes and cookies but sure it works well for those too.

I have this mixer and I like it. I does a good job with 2 loaves of fresh milled flour. I tried 3 loaves and it overheated and the thermal cutoff shut it down. I don't find the dough hook hard to clean. The bowl can become difficult to remove occasionally and I lubricated the bottom with some silicone grease. All in all a good value for the cost.

I have this mixer and love it. I tend to choose it over my kitchenaid. I have never thought of it as difficult or a pain to clean.

I think you just solved my problem!!!! I’ve only used this mixer twice (sandwich dough & pizza dough) and both of them, wouldn’t window pane & kept getting stickier. Both were flops😢 ….I kept the lid on! Thank you for sharing this bit of info!

Do you think the bowl scraper attachment would be needed for bread and/or cookie dough?
@Lovelybellbakes11 күн бұрын
I think it’s helpful but not needed.

I have this NutriMill mixer and I am very happy with it. I can’t compare it with the Bosch or Ankarstrum . I couldn’t afford either of them so I was thankful for a more affordable dough mixer. I use the mixer every week for making bread and other baking needs. I don’t mind cleaning all the parts, but it is all I have known! I like the cover as it keeps the flour from blowing out. I like how easy it is to move because it is light. I bought some of the accessories- different paddles and they work well too. The shredder/slicer not so much. It can’t shred cabbage without making it mushy. NutriMill has wonderful customer service. They helped me with my grain mill even though it is probably 15 yrs old and needed new parts!

There is a seam at the bottom of the plastic bowl. The 2 pieces of the bowl are bolted together with 3 screws. I took it apart to clean, and there was funky residue in there. Yuck. My next mixer will have a one piece stainless bowl. No more plastic for me.
@Lovelybellbakes5 ай бұрын
Nutrimill sells a stainless steel bowl replacement. It’s very pricey tho. Almost as much as the mixer. collabs.shop/ogxerh (ad)

I just don’t like the plastic, plastic disintegrates after a while then you’re eating plastic. disintegrates after a while thing you’re eating plastic. To much money.
