Just sitting at the park waiting for my one wheel board charge. Best money I’ve ever spent in my life. My buddy called me about a year ago and showed me a video of the new Onewheel board he got. One hour later I met him at the park with my new Onewheel board. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen and had to have one. I have been snowboarding my entire life and nothing feels quite the same like riding my one wheel board. I live in Arizona so it is a little harder to get to the snow. Boat with my Onewheel board it is perfect powder every day the streets and whatever else there is to conquer. I have not stopped writing it since I bought it and cherish it more than anything. People ask me if it’s easier? I tell them if you have a little balance, a little athleticism, a little stupid, and a little crazy then it’s for you. Love it love the videos.

Then I fell and tore my ACL. 30k in Hospital bills, 8 months of recovery. The one question I got asked constantly was if I was going to get back on the board. HELL YES. I love my Onewheel.

So... I am excited to say my xr is coming tomorrow. I've wanted one wheel since the day they came out I just couldn't afford one couldn't pay the cash upfront too heavy of a hit so you know what I did is started working on my credit. And I figured if I can get financed It would help me build my credit because eventually I'm going to buy a motorcycle like real soon and I'll need to finance that as well. So PayPal was the first place to give me a credit card and then I signed up for a secured credit card and now I've got four credit cards with a decent limit and my credit score has improved enough to get financed for a one-wheel. I have never skateboarded in my life, I have always wanted to but I didn’t. Once I saw an ad for the Onewheel on KZbin I fell in love with it. I’m currently saving up for my first XR and cannot wait for the day when I can open the box🤤. I’m just enamored by the technology of this creation and think about it every day. But of course adulting and trying to get into our first house puts the brakes on this, lol. First ride, twisted ankle and couldn't wait to get back on. I'll never forget my first big slam on the onewheel, I had gotten over-confident as well! Was smashing along full speed and didn't see a pothole, I must have bounced 15 feet. Was bruised up for like 4 months. Wrist guards and helmet saved me from the worst though!

I first saw someone riding a Onewheel at a festival in 2017 and thought it was some sort of home made festival transportation gadget. A year later I discovered they were an actual product, designed 30 miles away and made in my hometown of San Jose. This was the first video I watched that really sold me on the Onewheel and finally, 3 years later, I have one coming my way.

Oh yesh. I have a OneWheel+ XR, and it is *all of those things* you described. Especially 'obscenely fun'. I ride less trails and more 'paved' paths - but that's because I ride this thing like it's my 'summer snowboard'. So sweet to roll a slow carve from one side of a path to the other. Instead of a new laptop this year, it was an XR, and it's *already* been well worth it.

I just bought the one-wheel XR! I was super psyched for it to be delivered today, but then this morning I got an email saying it's not going to be here until next Thursday! Doesn't feel fair for them to change the delivery date on the day of expected delivery, but I imagine that's FedEx is falt and not onewheel's. Either way I could not be more stoked for receiving my one-wheel. Actually I intend to buy a camera just to go with the one wheel and film my learning curve. Awesome video can't wait to feel what an awesome toy it is!

Okay ... I hate to do this to you (or anyone), but I have no choice. I don't care about all the fun things you do on the onewheel. What I want to know is ... how practical is the onewheel for my own purpose. Which is? . To go fetch gasoline for my ... airplane! Say what? You see, I just bought a tiny little side-by-side 2-seat airplane. The main purpose is to fly low and slow down canyons or mountain valleys, past spires (think Monument Valley), land on mountaintops and mountain ridges for picnic lunch ... that kind of thing. But eventually, I need to go find fuel. I almost never land at an airport that hosts jets (even tiny jets). In fact, much of the time I just land on grass lawns, dirt roads, long driveways, sand bars along rivers, empty fields, or one of the 20,000+ tiny little airstrips scattered around the world that regular folks never see (and might not even recognize is there for tiny airplanes if they took a walk down the "runway"). And so, the following is what sometimes happens when I need to find fuel. I visually scout from the air, with naked eye or sometimes with binoculars, for gas stations where I can land on the road and pull into the gas station. Sometimes works, sometimes can't find one that convenient. In which case I find a gas station with a lawn or field or dirt-road or something I can land on nearby (need about 100+ feet of straightaway, more at higher elevations). When I land, the hassle is dragging two empty 5~10 gallon fuel bladders to the gas station, which might be 100 feet away... or a few miles away in the worst cases. Getting to the gas station is the easier part, because the fuel bladders are empty and smaller (collapsed), but still no fun if the distance is very far. The harder part is getting back to the airplane with two awkward fuel bladders full of gasoline (5~10 gallons each == 35 to 70 pounds each). I checked out those manual and electric bikes that be folded and disassembled, but they just barely fit or don't fit through the hole into my cargo area. Which brings us to these onewheel gizmos. They will definitely fit through the hole into the cargo area, and consume a lot less volume than those bikes. So my main question is... are they practical to haul two 5~10 gallon fuel bladders (basically thick rubber bags) roughly the size and shape of those red "jerry jugs" that are common for carrying gasoline in or to cars. Except the fuel bladders have more rounded edges. They all have handles and some have clips for shoulder straps. Forget the fun! The airplane is my fun. The question is, are they stable and reliable enough for my purpose (once I have 5 or 10 hours practice riding the suckers). And do remember your answer needs to take into account hauling those two heavy fuel bladders while you ride. So, all you experts out there. Works easily? Might work? Totally crazy? Maybe more important ... what else might be better? Remember though, needs to be small to fit through the hole into the cargo area. The solution should be as lightweight as possible, because every extra pound of weight slightly reduces the performance of the airplane. Oh, and cheap-as-possible would be nice too.

So I’ve carried multiple heavy suitcases at once and it can do it, but the more weight you add to the bird the more careful you have to be of overpowering the motor. The board balances based on center of gravity so depending on how you carry the jugs and move them around it may or may not work. The XR would be the only one worth considering (IMO) but maybe even something like the new boosted scooter and hang one on each side of the handle bar? I’d find a shop that carries them and test it out.

Everything you’ve said about the Onewheel is on point! If anyone is still wondering, yes! It is worth every penny! I take it everywhere with me. Any chance I get, I ride it. It goes on planes with me, on trails, to the store. I even rode my Onewheel to the hospital after I wrecked on the Onewheel. I have fun cars, fun motorcycles, however, I still have more fun riding the Onewheel XR than any of those other things. One last thing to say about the Onewheel. ITS THE MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE WITH YOUR CLOTHS ON. (That’s legal)

I visited with family a couple Sundays ago....the kids pressured me into trying the OneWheel XR.... I’m 39, 6’3” 210 lbs, never been on a skateboard... I fell in love and had my own OneWheel XR delivered 5 days later. I’ve been on it every day since and it has no problem with the steep hills in my neighborhood. Worth the money? Absolutely. Cons: I ordered the fender at the same time and still have yet to receive it, for that amount of money they coulda figured out a way to ship it all together. If you are learning, it’s likely you’ll get some wheel burn on your ankles at some point without the fender.... and living in the Pacifc NW, the wheel spray drenches the legs/shoes in a hurry. I’m pretty annoyed that I don’t have the f’ing fender yet. That said, I’ve been fantasizing about riding it all morning.... it’s still dark out.... gonna hit the OneWheel before the rain begins.

Great vid- slow but entertaining. Here's the deal- if you're asking the question he poses, freaking yes...YES> I am a 6'3" 265Lb dork. I race motorcycles, ride road bicycles, drive fast cars on tracks etc. All the first world expensive sports. I spend shit tons of disposable income playing and enjoying life. Lucky me, yes. Here's the deal. I dont surf, snow board or skateboard. have done a few times but not my gig. I saw this, at a racetrack where a dude was using it in the pits to get around. A few peeps I know got them. (older versions) I asked and was told its very hard...eff it. I ordered it, paid overnight freight, got it yesterday, this video was still on my screen since I ordered it. Yesterday eve I spent 15 minutes on the carpet in the house, and put on my backpack. I went outside, with my phone, wallet, the charger everything. I rode it thorugh the city, parks, all over and went downtown, and had to plug in to charge it. It was a 100% riot. RIDICULOUSLY RAD. i carve like i'm on a GS course, all terrains, fell once, in my driveway, at the end of 16 miles for my first ride...mostly because my calves were lazy and shredded ! BUY ONE. My story is similar. I started with a Segway MiniPro that I scored on eBay for 120 bucks. It’s been great and I take it everywhere. But now that it has proven that I can, and will, replace my car with an electric scooter, I am anxious to trade up to the OneWheel. Cool video! I've been wanting one for the past couple weeks but my financial situation simply does not allow me to buy one. Not now, not in a couple months. With our first baby on the way, it just seems impossible. So I figured I would build myself one. Having no prior experience with electricity, batteries, microcontrollers, soldering... Heck, I don't even know how to operate power tools to make the board myself! So for the last couple weeks, I have been reading, learning, taking notes. I plan on building myself a OneWheel equivalent for way cheaper than the OneWheel+ XR with similar performances. I have got all the theoretical part sorted out. I'm just gonna take my time to review, adjust and perfect everything so I know I have exactly the right parts and know exactly what to do when I receive them. It's a lot of research and there isn't any proper tutorial online on how to make one so I will have to figure it all out myself. If I succeed, which I damn well intend to, I plan on publishing how I did it on the internet. Just gotta figure out how I'm gonna fetch all that money. It's probably not gonna be soon but if you are interested in any sort of way, I encourage you to make your own research. Look for EBike documentation as all the battery and motor stuff is pretty close to what we want to achieve. Alright, that was it. Hope you all have a great day.

I want a one wheel so bad but it's just not something I am able to do financially right now, maybe one day. Hopefully sooner than later before I am too old to enjoy it without risking breaking a hip, lol. Almost 50 so only have about another 10 years before I have to get it out of my system! Slippery haha. I've taken it on skating rinks and its really hard but still super fun to do. Some people swap the tire for treaded tires which should help, though I've never done it.

I was longboarding with a friend yesterday and he had a OneWheel and I kept holding on to his shoulder while riding cause my legs were getting tired. Mark as of this day I bought a OneWheel. Just because of the two different experiences going on. Me dying for air while he’s waiting for me to keep going.

Just came back to the states from India to Jerusalem where Jesus walked , I could see the onewheel at his feet. Soon to Hawaii to college up. I cold see the onewheel a his feet. He’s a good son and is on the trails hitting the world with a song, everywhere, i to go via internet, but I could see onewheel at his feet! He is in all kind of training of mind body and spirit, I could see onewheel at his feet! From the gym to coffee and to the beaches around the world, tattoos and locals for a beer and guitar, his rugged good looks with his on the fly poetry, trying to catch his next meal and running to catch a flight, hear there everywhere, I could see onewheel at his feet! But at last, I on disability and so is he, we live free spirited not much to spare, but as he likes to say, “ no worries “. This is a cry out and say,wow , this is a better way to go! Maybe here is a boy s perfect walking toy, more like a tool for the feet, always ready to run and have fun. Thanks

Was at the beach omg so much fun, definitely not a good idea for me financially as i have a car, and no way i can commute to work with my tools on this thing. But it's been so far the best mental health thing in the longest time, i want to be outside now i can't stop!
