I see that the spring tensioning is not so perfect, during your cutting you can see a very loose chain on the lower part of the bar.

Yeah that's why I mentioned its better to have a screw to tighten the chain. But it works fine for the rest

It does have a chain tension screw. It’s behind the bar.

No it has not, it a spring and it's not posible tot tighten it up

Problem is: where to get 1/3 pitch replacement chains ? I cant find one. Except some very expensive 20 EUR (the whole machine costs 40 EUR) few ones, which seem to be the lasts on the market

Just sharpen it, not replace. I think, for such chain saw it will last long enough.

I also don’t understand how to attach the battery. The unit I have has a cylindrical hole in the handle but my battery is like yours??

The machine is not connected to the Lidle home app only the battery I use is ready to connect. I jus show the battery is compatible with the machine you can only connect the battery and not the machine to the home app

Hi Kate, sounds like you have the 12 volt version. This is the 20 volt version, therefore you require 12 volt battery and 12 volt charger! Cheers😊

What do you mean connect with Bluetooth to the battery? Connect it to what?

The X20v Team Battery is compatible with the machine, a Bluetooth battery has no value for the machine

You can pull the sword to keep the chain tight , while locking it in place . My chain is definitely not that loose

No, it's an automatic spanner, it comes. Loose every time, normally this works with a screw and not with a coil spring.

@@DennisDIY when I unscrew the red lock, then the sword can move as you say, but if you pull the sword while tighten the red lock, then the sword is totally fixed.. I just tested to be sure, the automatic spring to stretch out the chain, is not strong enough on its own and the chain will come loose. Just apply a small pressure on the sword while tightening it completely

It is just, not a proper way to lock the blade. I prefer a screw

Yes true , it is a self tightening chain so can't do anything about it. Normally you can tighten it up with a screw. To bad it hasn't this option.
