We actually might be overrated as Canes. Our schedule is weak and we struggled to a lot of unranked teams and have beat none of them. We also struggled for 2 games after VT as well and the majority of Duke and half of FSU.

@antoniomccorkle218 or Ohio ST its very obvious who there teams are ,they love the big 10,and all SEC schools ,Miami fans must watch and post all of the missed holding penalties because they want Miami out of the playoff picture. Restrapo was being held the entire game during his routes yet the refs allowed GT to cheat Miami should have just kicked 3 Fgs and stay undefeated sometimes it's about surviving.

To be fair, Florida isn't the same team that you played week one. They've gotten better on the Oline, Dline, and at the QB position since then. If Miami played Florida now, I'm not sure they win the game.

As a CANES fan we got to be serious and understand that we are still work in progress. This is the Canes chance to show they our going in the right direction. Off a bye week and frustrated lost from GT, to go out on senior day and send a message. Go CANES!!!!

Canes Fan here.. honestly, Miami's Defense leaves nothing to be taken seriously, and Miami's offense has shown that if going against the right defensive scheme, it can be shut down, if for 1 half (VT, CAL) or a full game (GT) The defense at this point could not hold up against Ohio St, Georgia, Bama, Oregon, Texas, Ole Miss... all those teams would hang 45+ on Miami and there's not a serious Canes Fan who would believe Miami could score over 45 on any of those teams Let's be real for a change.. isn't it nice to be (9-1) right now, as ugly and as lucky as some of the wins have come..?? vs being (5-7) (6-7) or (7-6) every year?

Dang, now imagine that FSU went undefeated last year and beat ranked teams and still didn't get in. Then they were belittled about how they weren't good enough by every other team fan in college football. How's it feel Miami? I know that the canes aren't currently completely out yet but trust me. The committee will find a way to keep y'all out.

The ACC is getting disrespected. SMU, Mia. and Clemson should clearly be in the discussion. Every conference leader is in top except SMU. I understand Mia. is favored but SMU is leading the conference. Mia. should be over ND because of loss. Clemson will have 3 ranked games this season, if they beat S. Carolina that's 1 of 3 ranked wins. There are top teams that have lost to ranked opponents and still sit in top spots. If you try to justify any 2 loss SEC going to the playoffs Clemson should be right there as well. The disrespect is real for the ACC and it is obvious.

No they are not. Miami has not beaten a team as good as Georgia,Alabama or Oregon. Our defense leaves us suspect to the ability to win a game against that caliber of competition. Our offense can play with anyone but you have to be able to stop the other team. We haven’t shown that ability so far.

Yeah Miami might be underrated as is, yeah Miami is not as good as xyz. But who can say definitively to the point of dropping Miami over 2 loss teams? Bama lost to Vandy but because they beat teams Miami hasn’t even had a chance to play Bama is better and deserves to be higher? The Committee absolutely ruined it last year by removing FSU based on an injury report. What a disgusting precedence. Disgusting in that it makes the athletes actors and their work meaningless. The problem is assuming Miami is worse when they have beat everyone except the one game the offense and Cam played real bad. Losses should always have more impact than subjective quality wins I think. Not that you line them up by loss. Exceptions happen but what if Miami dominates their next opponents? Meaningless because they aren’t good teams? Quality of wins is subjective and too many variables as to why xyz team beat xyz. Even common opponent doesn’t really mean that much as far as accurately determining who’s better. Lining up is the only real way.
