Awesome video !!!!!!! I have researched for the past few months on gravity water filtration systems and watched tons of videos. After looking at all information I decided on the big Pro One system and got two 9in ceramic filters to start with and will order another 6 for backup after my unit arrives which should be in the next couple of days. Concerning your video it covered EVERY aspect from unboxing to complete set up and more. When I ordered I had wondered how complete the instructions would be and you sir have solved that problem. I like your style of video production and have subscribed to your channel and thank you again for the outstanding production !!!

Awesome Mr. Smith! I've been super happy with this system since I got it. Maybe they'll sponsor me?!?! I only make videos on products I'm 100% happy with and that I would recommend to others. This is a great filter for tap water and when SHTF!

Maybe send the water to a lab to see what unfiltered water contains and what the filter water cleaned out?

Hey! 👋🏻 Great video! I have a Berkey system and is considering switching to Pro One. I like that you don’t have to prime the filters. Does this system come with a water test kit? Berkey would have a water dye test and I was wondering how would you know if your filter is working right or say faulty? It would suck to find out you bought brand new filters, only to discover it wasn’t filtering your water properly. And it would be expensive to always buy the Tap Score water testing kit each time (as I feel that’s probably the most reliable water test kit).

I don't think it does, but you can just use red or blue food dye. I'm looking at getting one of these myself.

If you are researching a system there is a very important first step, before you add water to your system. get some kind of containers like food grade containers and make a basic container. This one is used to strain as many impurities out as you can before putting water into your system. containers, fabric for filters, old t shirts, cotton items of clothing or bedding I would think natural fabrics are better than fabrics would be better that man made fabric. once you have strained your water through, boil it before you put it into your system. If you look after your system in that manner your system will last longer as you are keeping your filter as clean as humanly possible. After all in need you are using water wherever you find it. Somehow I never see that being said in any of these videos. Water is life!

Do you rinse the filters first?
@communityprepper61534 ай бұрын
There's nothing in the instructions to rinse the filter before use. It comes with a few scrub brushes, but it states thats for cleaning the filters down the road after months of use. I did put about 6 gallons (two cycles) through the filters before I drank from it. No need to do this either, but it made me feel better :)
