These R60MKs were to be put in the Russian MiG21bis, but they were not added....it is a very sad thing...

I think it's because the Russians already have r60m on the mig 27.

@@toothlessDJErcik the MK is a export model of the M, the mk has slightly worse tracking in my experience but it could be confirmation bias, statistically they're identical

The fuel tank looking thing I assume you mean? It's an ecm pod, it should allow for stuff like radar jamming but it just gives flares to the mig 21 at the moment

I don’t use missiles on any of my 11.0 aircraft i dont get how missiles l work i just am so used to guns not missiles

Most missiles are ir missiles, ir is given off by smoke and heat, early missiles like in war thunder are almost always rear aspect, except the r60 m and mk, downside is they can be avoided with flares a lot easier, upside is they can head on fire at players, you wanna assign a button to the seeker on the missiles, irl this can be turned on indefinitely but that would be op or something... idk why it's not like that in wt honestly my seeker is set to a mouse side button and I'll hit space to fire once I'm sure I can hit, hitting varies on many things like if they're firing flares, their speed, your speed, where the sun is even, if there is terrain in the way the missile will hit it, its complicated, I might make a video on it

You should play the F5E or any other F5 if you don't already. That will definitely suit your gameplay then.
